CBS' Dennis Dodd: CU at TCU, Sept. 2: Why do I have a sneaking suspicion Sonny Dykes is going to run it up against the preening Deion? Thoughts?
- It's going to be like this all season for CU. Every team is going to try bring Coach Prime down a notch ... Just like how WSU and OSU are going to take out their frustrations on the Pac-12 (55%, 145 Votes)
- I know it's not a popular notion with Buff fans, but TCU is a three-touchdown favorite. If the Horned Frogs get the chance to make a statement on national television in Game One, they'll do it (24%, 64 Votes)
- Great bulletin board material - not that the Buffs will be lacking. Dennis Dodd has had next to no respect for CU or Coach Prime, so this click bait is just another example (21%, 57 Votes)

USA Today/Coaches preseason poll released, with five of CU's 2023 opponents making the list. Thoughts?
- Interested that the team which played for the national title last season - TCU - got dropped all the way down to No. 16. TCU lost significant talent - it will be up to CU to show the nation how much (73%, 116 Votes)
- Apparently grading the Pac-12 on quarterbacks: No. 6 USC (Caleb Williams) > No. 11 Washington (Michael Penix) > No. 14 Utah (Cameron Rising) > No. 15 Oregon (Bo Nix) (14%, 23 Votes)
- Interesting that Oregon State made the Top 25 (at No. 18), while UCLA, which made many of the preseason lists, didn't (coming in at No. 31). Guess that means CU's Rose Bowl trip might be a "W" (13%, 20 Votes)

If you were the President of Stanford and/or Cal, what would be your next move?
- Stand by the phone, and hope that the Big Ten, Big 12, or ACC will take pity on my school, and offer admittance, even if it is at a reduced share of revenue (49%, 117 Votes)
- Make the best deal I can with the Mountain West, perhaps with an out to play as many Power Five games as I can arrange, keeping my independent options open (29%, 70 Votes)
- I would work on keeping the "Pac-12" together for non-revenue sports, so that my national championship caliber non-revenue teams can stay in tact, and keep pumping out national titles (22%, 54 Votes)

Now that the dust is settling a little on the future of CU, the Pac-12, and the Big 12, what are your thoughts about the 2024 season and beyond?
- Excited. CU will be out from underneath the shadows of USC, Oregon and Washington (not to mention Texas and Oklahoma), and will quickly be in position to compete for a conference title (41%, 133 Votes)
- Not that interested, to tell the truth. Nothing is going to happen until 2024, and CU has an exciting 2023 campaign with Coach Prime to play. Let's worry about 2024 after the calendar turns (37%, 121 Votes)
- Upset. It should have never come to this. Greed, mismanagement and disregard for the fans has brought an end to a pillar of college football. I'm sad CU played a role in the demise of the Pac-12 (22%, 71 Votes)

Which of the eight teams leaving the Pac-12 conference had the worst day on "Black Friday"?
- Utah - Like Arizona State, Utah didn't want to leave the Pac-12. The Utes are two-time defending champions - of a now-defunct league. Plus, they now have to play hated rival BYU every year (39%, 87 Votes)
- Arizona State - ASU President Michael Crow fought to the end to keep the Pac-12 together, and, in the end, had to eat "crow" and go hat in hand to beg the Big 12 for an offer of membership (33%, 73 Votes)
- Oregon - The Ducks had the chance to keep the conference together. Had Oregon stayed, there would have been at least a nine-team conference. Oregon will be remembered as the school which ended the Pac (28%, 62 Votes)

The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
