ESPN experts can't decide which team should be the favorite to win the Big 12. Which of their choices would be your pick?
- Utah ... If it wasn't for Cam Rising returning, the Utes, 8-5 last season, wouldn't be the pick. With Cam Rising and a strong defense, the Utes will be the favorite (58%, 112 Votes)
- Kansas State ... These aren't your 1980s Mildcats. Kansas State won nine games last year, and misses Utah and Arizona in Big 12 play. Hard as it is to say, KSU should be the favorite (40%, 77 Votes)
- Arizona ... It's all about the quarterbacks, and Noah Fifita had a great freshman season. If Jedd Fisch hadn't left, this would be an easier choice, but the Wildcats should win the Big 12 (2%, 5 Votes)

CU's rally on the road against Utah comes up short, with the Buffs falling, 73-68. Thoughts?
- I guess the message boards are right: Tad Boyle can bring in decent players, but he can't coach 'em up during the season. Another year of sweating the bubble with Top 25-worthy talent (46%, 80 Votes)
- With Cody Williams and Luke Brian out with (hopefully short term) injuries, I guess we should be surprised the Buffs kept it that close. A tough loss, but not fatal (35%, 61 Votes)
- Whew! I thought you were talking about the women's team losing a game. The No. 6 Buffs know how to close out a tough road game, and did once again Friday night (19%, 33 Votes)

Report: Defensive end Sav'ell Smalls switching to tight end. Thoughts?
- Definitely a wait-and-see. Smalls was a five-star recruit out of high school, and played in every game for two years at Washington before transferring. There's got to be some talent there ... right? (59%, 107 Votes)
- A good move. Smalls only played in four games last fall on a defensive line desperate for help. The tight end room is perilously thin ... a win by adding Smalls to a position of need (27%, 49 Votes)
- Hope it works out, but I can't help but think that CU, hoping for tight end help in the Portal, came up empty, forcing CU to make a move which might not add much to the tight end room (14%, 25 Votes)

Which news story to you will have the longest lasting significance?
- That the CU spring game will be played on April 27th. The other stories are just the latest about the demise of the NCAA. When I will be able to watch my Buffs again is more important! (54%, 88 Votes)
- That the states of Tennessee and Virginia are suing the NCAA to bring an end to NIL regulation. How long will it be before the top 36/48/64 teams get their act together and set up their own league? (31%, 50 Votes)
- That the NCAA is going to impose useless penalties for Arizona State's blatant recruiting violations. Why does the NCAA even pretend to have enforcement abilities? (15%, 24 Votes)

If I could change one aspect of CU's 2024 schedule, it would be ...
- I wouldn't have North Dakota State on the schedule. Either: a) I don't like playing FCS teams; or b) if you are going to play an FCS team, don't play a giant killer with eight national titles (54%, 120 Votes)
- Not playing both CSU and Nebraska on the road. It was fun having back-to-back rivalry games at home last season, but it would have been better to offset these games (play CSU in Ft. Collins last year) (31%, 70 Votes)
- Move the Central Florida game to later in the season. It might be very warm (and humid) on September 28th, and you might get more CU fans to travel to Orlando in November (15%, 33 Votes)

The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
