CU receives a commitment from junior college offensive lineman Issiah Walker. Thoughts?
- A nice first step. Nice to see Walker was a highly-rated recruit (albeit from the Class of 2020). Also like that he'll enroll in January and be available for spring. CU needs a whole new room (56%, 134 Votes)
- Certainly happy to get an offensive lineman commitment, but Walker's offer sheet - two Power Five conference schools - isn't all that impressive. Hope it works out (29%, 71 Votes)
- Ask and ye shall receive! A 6'4", 309-pound offensive lineman with playing experience and two years of eligibility? Welcome, Mr. Walker, to the black-and-gold! (15%, 36 Votes)

Colorado opens as a 12.5-point home underdog to No. 16 Oregon State (Saturday, 8:00 p.m., MT, ESPN). Thoughts?
- The Buffs managed to cover the spread against the Bruins, and I can see the same happening on Homecoming. Playing at home at night, Buffs keep it closer than double digits (44%, 100 Votes)
- Returning home, with a defense which has regained its ball-hawking identity, I can see the Buffs upsetting the Beavers, who just watched their Playoff dreams die in the desert against Arizona (38%, 86 Votes)
- Hmmm ... Oregon State is scoring over 36 points per game. To beat the spread, the Buffs need to score 24 or more. I can't see it with this offense - Beavers in a blowout (18%, 40 Votes)

No. 23 UCLA 28, Colorado 16. Thoughts?
- Really hard game to watch. Shedeur Sanders was sacked seven times, and hit almost 20 times. Until or unless a different offensive scheme can be found, the Buffs won't win another game (58%, 156 Votes)
- Lost in the offensive struggles was a solid performance by the defense. The Buffs forced four turnovers in the first half ... that should have been enough to get the Buffs a chance to win (24%, 64 Votes)
- Four games in November. Four opportunities to show this coaching staff that it can find a win with this roster. Opportunities are there - Can the Buffs find their way to a win before season's end? (18%, 47 Votes)

It's time! Your prediction for Colorado at No. 23 UCLA (Saturday, 5:30 p.m., MT, ABC)
- Energy and emotion can only get you so far, as CU fans have seen for years now. Buffs stay close for awhile, but get worn down in the second half. CU loses, but covers the 17.0-point spread (41%, 80 Votes)
- The bye week is going to work wonders for this team. I expect them to come out focused, and shock the college football world like they did against TCU in the opener. Buffs win, baby! (36%, 70 Votes)
- I'm afraid that the bye week came at the exact wrong time, and the meltdown against Stanford is going to haunt this team the rest of the season. UCLA wins going away, and the Buffs fall to 4-4 (23%, 43 Votes)
Start Date: October 27, 2023 @ 4:10 pm

Which of the following Pac-12 games for you will hold the most interest?
- No. 8 Oregon at No. 13 Utah. The winner has a great chance at making the Pac-12 title game, while the loser will be out of the race. Surprised Oregon is a touchdown favorite on the road (69%, 135 Votes)
- No. 11 Oregon State at Arizona. CU's next two opponents (both in Boulder) face off against one another. Not sure who to cheer for/against in this one, but a nice chance at some late night scouting (27%, 53 Votes)
- Washington State at Arizona State. The Cougars have lost three games in a row, and may become CU's last best chance at a win in 2023. ASU has been close lately - is this the weekend for a "W"? (4%, 9 Votes)

The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
