CU picks up a commitment from three-star cornerback DJ McKinney from Oklahoma State. Thoughts?
- Love this! McKinney was on the field for the Cowboys for the second-most plays in the OSU secondary - as a red-shirt freshman. We know he can play in the Big 12, and has three years of eligibility! (56%, 147 Votes)
- I like McKinney's quote: “I want to be the best, so why not go get coached by the best? That’s Coach Prime right there" ... and getting him away from a Big 12 rival is a bonus (24%, 62 Votes)
- Generally going to be happy with new recruits with Power Five experience, but there are a few spots left on the roster, and I'm not sure if another defensive back is what CU needs the most (20%, 54 Votes)

It's time! Your prediction for the National Championship game (Michigan a 5.0-point favorite):
- No. 2 Washington has overcome doubters ... and the Oregon Ducks (twice!). An underdog once again, the Dawgs will pull off one last surprise to win their first title since 1991 (62%, 154 Votes)
- I'm going to go right down the middle here. I'm going to go with Michigan to win, but Washington to cover the five-point spread in a close and exciting national championship game (23%, 57 Votes)
- No. 1 Michigan has overcome suspensions, suspicions and a tough closing schedule. The Wolverines are a team of destiny, and will cover the spread to win their first title since 1997 (15%, 37 Votes)

The Athletic, on CU's freshman Recruiting Class, currently sitting at six players: "This feels like coaching malpractice". Thoughts?
- We'll see how this all plays out. If Coach Prime continues to ignore freshman as a means to build the roster, then I'll be concerned. But for the Class of 2024, I'm okay with the numbers (44%, 116 Votes)
- Stupid. Absurd. Uninformed. Pick you descriptor. Did this guy bother to take a look at the overall Class, which, including transfers, is ranked No. 21 in the nation? I'm guessing no (44%, 115 Votes)
- While the comment is click-bait and shouldn't have been made, it is a reasonable concern that CU's roster is imbalanced, and that Coach Prime has no interest in building for the future (12%, 30 Votes)

Buffs humbled by No. 10 Arizona, 97-50. Thoughts on what this reflects about Tad Boyle's Buffs
- The Buffs were without Tristan Da Silva and Cody Williams. Take two of the top players out of the lineup of most teams, and put them on the road against a top ten team ... and this will happen (49%, 117 Votes)
- Well, CU hadn't won in Tucson since 1965, so I guess we should have seen this loss coming, but getting embarrassed like this? I guess we should be glad that it only counts for one loss (40%, 96 Votes)
- This is an Arizona team which gave up to 100 points on the road to Stanford in its last game. The Wildcats were ripe for the taking, but the Buffs under Tad Boyle tend to choke in big games (11%, 25 Votes)

Which quote from five-star high school prospects about NIL offers do you find to be the most eyebrow raising?
- "It wasn’t a big difference for me in terms of the total package. All the schools offered about $300,000 to $400,000 per year with the ability to earn more" (73%, 122 Votes)
- "I had another school offer me the same NIL deal, but with a signing bonus. The signing bonus would’ve been basically a really nice car. The NIL deal is like an NFL rookie contract" (19%, 31 Votes)
- "I signed completely off the bond I built with coaches. I didn’t start talking about NIL until recently. I’ll be making about $80,000 to $100,000 per year. A couple other schools had similar offers" (8%, 13 Votes)

The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
