Which of the following to you rates as the most significant story of the weekend?
- That the No. 5 CU women won a big game over No. 9 Stanford (a rare win over the Cardinal), setting up a showdown against two Top Ten L.A. schools next weekend (54%, 153 Votes)
- That Arizona lost its head coach to Washington. The Wildcats would have been one of the favorites in the new Big 12 next fall. Now? Not so much (and Arizona fans deserve it) (36%, 102 Votes)
- That Tad Boyle's Buffs rallied from a 16-point first half deficit to defeat USC. With the Oregon schools coming to town next weekend, CU couldn't afford a fourth straight loss (10%, 26 Votes)

CU adds Devin Rispress to its recruiting staff, loses analyst Dennis Thurman to Hawai'i (as defensive coordinator). Thoughts?
- We'll see. Rispress is a good pickup, but Thurman was mentioned as one of the potential candidates for CU's next defensive coordinator. CU now needs a better hire than Thomas to make this a plus (65%, 118 Votes)
- A net gain. Rispress is a great recruiter, and had great success with Florida A&M. Dennis Thurman is a famous name, but he was just one of the directors of quality control. Welcome, Mr. Rispress! (29%, 52 Votes)
- A net loss. Dennis Thurman may have not had the title of a coach, but the fact that he was hired away as a defensive coordinator tells you his value. Sorry to see Dennis Thurman go (6%, 12 Votes)

Washington head coach Kalen DeBoer hired away to coach Alabama. Thoughts?
- I'm just glad that the hiring of DeBoer will put an end to the talk of Coach Prime leaving CU for Alabama (or to Florida State if Mike Norvell had taken the Alabama job) (38%, 86 Votes)
- Makes sense for DeBoer to strike while the iron is hot. It's going to be difficult for the Huskies to get back to the national championship game as a member of the Big Ten (35%, 79 Votes)
- I'm just disappointed that Oregon's Dan Lanning didn't take the job - to keep Oregon's reputation as a stepping stone program ... and to watch Lanning flame out in Tuscaloosa (27%, 62 Votes)

CU lost a defensive back (Jahquez Robinson), but picked up a defensive tackle (Tauren Carter). How would you rate the Transfer Portal trade?
- A net gain. CU has plenty of defensive backs with Power Five talent, so Robinson probably wouldn't have played much this fall. Carter can help fill a big hole (literally) is CU's defensive line (64%, 156 Votes)
- Pretty neutral. It's probably a good thing that Robinson is moving on, freeing up a scholarship, but I'd rather see Coach Prime find another linebacker to replace the loss of DJ Lundy (34%, 84 Votes)
- A net loss. Carter is large body (6'3", 303-pounds), but was only a part-timer for Arkansas. Glad Carter is on board, but not sure that he will be anything more than a backup (2%, 4 Votes)

Linebacker DJ Lundy, a CU commit since Christmas, de-commits, returning to Florida State. Thoughts?
- I'm just disappointed that CU lost its only linebacker signee to date. This unit was right behind the lines in priority for the off-season, and CU is now sitting at zero linebacker transfers (61%, 158 Votes)
- A loss, but not a devastating loss. Lundy was a three-star prospect, and only had one year of eligibility left. He was a good plug in piece, but there are others out there who can fill that role (25%, 65 Votes)
- Something rotten here in NIL world. Haters of Coach Prime are always accusing CU of buying players, but this sounds as if Florida State boosters ponied up to keep Lundy (14%, 36 Votes)

The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
