Do you consider having Warren Sapp on the roster as a graduate assistant to be a positive for the team?
- Definitely! All of the players on the defensive line roster envision themselves in the NFL, and Sapp has a gold jacket. When Sapp speaks - they listen (and learn) (63%, 170 Votes)
- Probably. If Sapp is there as a graduate assistant, and not the coach, it's a positive. As long as the coaches are teaching, and Sapp is a supplement, it is a good thing (30%, 82 Votes)
- Not really. Sapp has no coaching experience, so I'm concerned with the extra attention Sapp will prove to be more of a distraction than a benefit to the team (7%, 20 Votes)

CU receives one vote in the Associated Press preseason Top 25 poll. Thoughts?
- If you look at the poll and CU's schedule, there are six Buff opponents ranked above CU (including Nebraska). Beat (at a minimum) all of the unranked opponents, and the Buffs are going bowling! (37%, 53 Votes)
- Kind of appropriate, actually. Shows how far CU has to go in order to become relevant on the national stage. A journey of 1,000 miles begins with a single vote (36%, 51 Votes)
- Nice to see the Buffs getting some recognition from at least one writer. This just in: No other team which finished 4-8 last season got any votes (27%, 38 Votes)

Which of the following unranked Big 12 teams to you has the best chance to crash the College Football Playoffs?
- Colorado ... Okay, so the Buffs weren't mentioned in The Athletic article about potential CFP party crashers, but the pundits don't believe in the Buffs like we do. Coach Prime in the Playoffs? Yes! (66%, 127 Votes)
- Iowa State. The Cyclones have nine starters back on both offense and defense, and miss both Oklahoma State and Arizona this fall (23%, 45 Votes)
- West Virginia. The Mountaineers won nine games last fall, have seven home games, and have a quality quarterback in Garrett Greene (7%, 13 Votes)
- Central Florida. With former Arkansas quarterback K.J. Jefferson running Gus Malzahn's offense, the Knights will be able to score against any defense in the Big 12 (4%, 7 Votes)

CU to host an open practice in Denver at All City Stadium (1500 S. Franklin Street) beginning at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Are you in?
- Definitely! After years of nothing but closed practices, Coach Prime brings the Buffs to Denver. It's only a practice, but it's CU football. I will be there to support my Buffs! (36%, 49 Votes)
- Perhaps. I'd like some more details, though. If they aren't going to have actual tickets, it could be a mess, as there should be a huge crowd excited to see the Buffs (33%, 44 Votes)
- No, thanks. There is zero chance that the Buffs will run any plays which they will run against North Dakota State. If you thought the Spring Game was a snooze, this will be worse (31%, 42 Votes)

How would you recommend Coach Prime and the Buffs deal with the latest round of negative press?
- Not that it was related to the latest round of inaccurate stories, but I love that Coach Prime called out Sean Keeler from the Denver Post. That brush off was pure gold! (55%, 94 Votes)
- It's hard, but the best thing Coach Prime and the Buffs can do is ignore the stories. They will die a quick death, and focus can return to football. Games are only a few weeks away! (38%, 65 Votes)
- Fight fire with fire. The latest round of stories has been so outrageous, that it requires not only denials, but being aggressive in dealing with the pseudo journalists (7%, 13 Votes)

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy???
