Which of the following statements from the CBS' Dennis Dodds article about Coach Prime do you find to be the most snarky/infuriating?
- Prime's coaching chops are still under construction. That's because CU enters 2024 on a six-game losing streak. Going 27-6 at Jackson State is one thing, resurrecting a moribund CU is another (41%, 60 Votes)
- The Hall of Fame player and pitchman might be the best thing the new Big 12 has going for it. Ratings! Hype! Commercials! Entourage! Sunglasses! (33%, 48 Votes)
- Don't call Deion the face of the best team -- or even the best program -- in the Big 12. Think of Coach Prime in his own category as the best entertainer in the Big 12 (26%, 39 Votes)

Oklahoma State coach Mike Gundy will not suspend star running back Ollie Gordon after DUI arrest. Thoughts?
- All I know is that if this had happened to a CU star, it would have been a national story, Coach Prime would have been vilified, and the player would be facing much stiffer penalties (73%, 134 Votes)
- Hate to admit it, but Gundy's statement that it's a "different time", and that keeping Gordon on the field as a "business decision" just reflects collegiate athletics today (16%, 30 Votes)
- What a crock. An underage driver blows a .11, and only has "internal penalties"? Guess if OSU was playing Northern Colorado instead of South Dakota State, there would have been a one game suspension (11%, 20 Votes)

Rate you level of excitement concerning the news that Evan Battey has been hired as a men's basketball assistant coach
- High. Are you kidding? The "Mayor of Boulder" who bleeds black-and-gold, coming to help coach and bring in recruits? This is a great day for the future of CU basketball (49%, 86 Votes)
- Medium. It's great to have a cheerleader like Battey be a part of the staff, but it remains to be seen if Battey can actually coach and/or recruit. Pretty sure he can ... but time will tell (41%, 71 Votes)
- Low. Battey is a great Buff, but this could be window dressing. There are several early polls which has CU as one of bottom feeders in the Big 12. It's about the players, not the coaches (10%, 18 Votes)

Rate your level of excitement of CU's official return to the Big 12 ...
- Medium. Glad that CU found a life boat as the Pac-12 imploded, but CU has a great deal to prove as it returns to its old haunts. Pressure is on to succeed (49%, 108 Votes)
- High. The Buffs return to the conference where success was expected and achieved. Glad to have the Pac-12 in the rear view mirror, with a fresh start against teams CU can beat (33%, 73 Votes)
- Low. Trips to Los Angeles, San Francisco, Phoenix and Seattle have been replaced with trips to Lubbock, Waco, Ames and Stillwater. Hard to get excited about a conference without a Blue Blood to beat (18%, 39 Votes)

Help settle our CUATG podcast debate: In what tier of the Big 12 would you put CU's overhauled running back room?
- Tier Two: 5-8 in the Big 12. A potential strength. A diversified unit with great potential; a unit which can help CU to a winning record and a bowl berth (47%, 72 Votes)
- Tier Three: 9-12 in the Big 12. Likely a liability, with no proven back in the room. But, if the unit can avoid injury and live up to its potential, they can help CU get to a bowl game (36%, 55 Votes)
- Tier Four: 13-16 in the Big 12. Once again, a problem area. CU lost all of its rushers from last season - not a good sign. This is a unit which might drag CU down to another losing season (9%, 13 Votes)
- Tier One: With the influx of talent, CU's backs are one of the top four units in the Big 12, capable of taking the Buffs to title contention if the rest of the team is equally up to the task (8%, 12 Votes)

The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
