CU receives a commitment from a 6'7", 315-pound offensive tackle, Naquil Betrand. Thoughts?
- Betrand: "I am respectful when you are respectful to me. On the field, (I am) disrespectful. Show no mercy. I am a dog" - I like him for that quote alone (45%, 96 Votes)
- One Power Five offer, and not yet even rated by the services. I suppose he will be yet another three-star recruit with a weak offer sheet. Lather, rinse, repeat - CU coaches need to step up their game (28%, 59 Votes)
- Impressed. A high school player of that size who is nimble and has offers literally from coast-to-coast. Welcome to the Black-and-Gold, Mr. Betran! (27%, 56 Votes)

How would you rate your level of concern over the offensive line roster heading into spring camp?
- High. If, objectively, the results from last season show that CU had one of the worst offenses in the nation, there is a great deal of work to be done (61%, 135 Votes)
- Medium. Hopefully, there will be a new addition or two from the Transfer Portal, but there are some good building blocks here. I'm cautiously optimistic a strong unit will come together by fall (30%, 68 Votes)
- Low. The Buffs had a high school coach teaching their offensive line last year, and that issue has been resolved. Kyle DeVan is a solid coach, and he has a good group to work with - just watch! (9%, 20 Votes)

Which factoid about senior Brady Russell do you find the most interesting?
- That Russell is excited about the new offense under Mike Sanford, as there is a "rhyme and a reason" for everything the new offensive staff is doing (74%, 118 Votes)
- That when Russell got to CU, the tight ends had a pinkie high five, with the sign language "i" symbolizing the irrelevance of the tight end room (18%, 29 Votes)
- That Russell was a walk-on, yet was named the Offensive Scout team Player of the Year as a true freshman, showing his dedication to help the team (8%, 13 Votes)

How would you rate your level of concern over the wide receiver roster heading into spring practices, 2022?
- Medium. Sure, there was some talent lost, but the wide receiver room has been one of the deepest on the team for years. Plug in RJ Sneed and give the returning players a chance to shine (41%, 82 Votes)
- Low. It appears that the players who want to be on the team are still on the roster. Figure out the quarterback situation (and get the offensive line to improve), and this group will shine this fall (39%, 79 Votes)
- High. You don't lose talents like Brenden Rice, Dimitri Stanley, and La'Vontae Shenault without taking a step back ... and this unit underperformed with those players on the roster (20%, 40 Votes)

Survey of 1,000 high school football players: CU's brand No. 57 out of 66 Power Five schools. Thoughts?
- This survey should be posted in every coaches office. It's going to take some significant effort on the recruiting trail to bring CU back to relevance. Get to work, gentlemen! (47%, 85 Votes)
- It's probably accurate, and an indictment of how far Colorado has fallen in the eyes of recruits. Buff fans remember better days, but recruits haven't seen much from the program in their lifetimes (44%, 80 Votes)
- Means nothing. It's just a survey, without any information about how the survey was conducted. It's spring, and there isn't much to talk about until spring ball starts. Nothing to see here (9%, 17 Votes)

The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
