With the Pac-12 scraping divisions for the purpose of determining title game participants, how should the future schedules be crafted?
- Go with an eight-game conference schedule. You can have the pods, with the remaining five games rotated between the remaining eight schools (66%, 81 Votes)
- Keep the nine-game conference schedule, but go with pods (CU in the "mountain" pod with the Arizona schools and Utah), with the remaining six games rotated among the other eight schools (19%, 23 Votes)
- Keep the schedule as is: five games against "regional" teams, with the remaining four games rotated among the other six teams in the conference (15%, 19 Votes)

CBS Sports prediction: With the Pac-12 pitting the top two teams in the conference championship, the Pac-12 will have a participant in the College Football Playoff. Thoughts?
- I'm not seeing it. Utah will be good, but not good enough for the playoffs, USC still has work to do, and Oregon and Washington have new coaches. Maybe next year, but not in 2022 (38%, 53 Votes)
- Sorry, but until or unless my Buffs are a part of the CFP conversation, I'm not interested. The Playoffs are a battle of which team spends the most on players, and I no longer care (36%, 50 Votes)
- I would have to agree. If USC is going to be as good as everyone thinks, there are now at least three options - USC, Utah, and Oregon - to have a highly-ranked team make the CFP (26%, 35 Votes)

Which statement from the College Football News CU preseason preview is for you hits closest to home?
- The problem is the schedule – there’s no base of certain wins to count on. This might be a better team without the great record to show for it (48%, 64 Votes)
- Converting on third down will change everything. Just get to 40ish% – CU did that just three times after ripping through Northern Colorado (32% for the year) – and the offense will be far better (41%, 55 Votes)
- The pass rush has been addressed this offseason as a main focus in spring ball, and it should be better. At least that’s the hope. Get to the QB more, and everything else should start to work. (11%, 15 Votes)

Pac-12 votes to eliminate divisions for purposes of determining championship participants. Thoughts?
- I like it. It will help the conference put its best foot forward when it comes to College Football Playoff selection time. It can't hurt the Pac-12 in the national picture (50%, 87 Votes)
- Too bad this wasn't in effect two years ago, as Colorado would have had a shot at the Pac-12 title, instead of USC playing second-place Oregon in the championship game (34%, 58 Votes)
- Not a big fan. If CU and Oregon are both 10-2, any guess which team the conference will try and find a way to put into the title game? CU another step away from national relevance (16%, 28 Votes)

Colorado opens as a 9.0-point home underdog to TCU for the 2022 season opener. Thoughts?
- We'll see. There's still three months before kickoff. I would suspect that the line will come down some over the summer, but the Buffs are likely to remain at least a touchdown underdog (50%, 110 Votes)
- Probably about right. The line is consistent with the expectations for the Buffs ... players lost to the Transfer Portal, struggling offense, wholesale coaching changes. It's going to be a tough year (36%, 79 Votes)
- You're kidding, right? TCU went 5-7 last season. With a bowl bid on the line in the finale, the Horned Frogs lost to Iowa State, 48-14. Bring 'em on! (14%, 29 Votes)

The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
