Will Shedeur Sanders or Travis Hunter be the No. 1 overall pick in the NFL Draft?
- No. I can see both Shedeur and Travis going in the top five in April, but there are other good options (like Cam Ward) for No. 1, and there are too many variables to predict a Buff going No. 1 (47%, 71 Votes)
- Yes. Travis Hunter is a unicorn who can star in the NFL at two positions. Yes, he will primarily play cornerback, but will also shine as a part time wide receiver. Some NFL team will figure that out (29%, 44 Votes)
- Yes. Tennessee has the No. 1 overall pick, and Shedeur has already impressed the head coach. I can see Shedeur going first to Tennessee (or to Las Vegas if the Raiders trade up) (24%, 36 Votes)

When will the Coach Prime contract extension be announced?
- Between now and the Super Bowl. Coach Prime will figure out the time for maximum exposure (perhaps during the Super Bowl pregame?). At least Dallas is out of the picture (55%, 89 Votes)
- Monday at the latest. Everyone who is even remotely close to the situation keeps saying it's a done deal, and we have no reason not to believe them. Go about your business - it'll happen (27%, 44 Votes)
- I'm beginning to wonder if it will happen. Coach Mac's memorial is behind us, as is the Regents' meeting (Thursday). Coach Prime is already under contract for five years. No new contract required (18%, 29 Votes)

Which of the following recent (since 2010) Buffs is your favorite "Wall of Honor" honoree?
- Spencer Dinwiddie (2011-14) ... The first "Mayor", Dinwiddie led the Buffs to three NCAA appearances and the Pac-12 title in 2012 (44%, 79 Votes)
- Derrick White (2016-17) ... 2016-17 All-Pac-12 First Team and All-Defensive Team … Helped the Celtics to the 2023-24 NBA Championship (26%, 47 Votes)
- Andre Roberson (2010-13) ... 2012-13 Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Year … Two-time All-Pac-12 First Team (2011-12, '12-13) … Greatest rebounder in CU history (17%, 31 Votes)
- Alec Burks (2009-11) ... A great Buff, currently in his 14th season in the NBA - way to represent, Alec! (13%, 22 Votes)

Which of the following Big 12 teams in the "Way Too Early" Preseason polls doesn't belong?
- Texas Tech. The Red Raiders end up with eight wins most years, but that's it. Fun fact: Texas Tech hasn't been ranked since 2018, the longest drought in the Big 12 (57%, 70 Votes)
- Arizona State. The Sun Devils are the defending Big 12 champions, but lose Cam Scattebo, and won't be sneaking up on anyone this fall. Going from worst-to-first doesn't mean you get to stay on top (23%, 28 Votes)
- Kansas State. The Wildcats lost three of their last four regular season games to end the 2023 season. KSU might right the ship in 2025, but I'm not sure they belong as a preseason Top 25 team (20%, 25 Votes)

To me, one of the best things about CU being ranked No. 25 in the final AP poll ...
- That Coach Prime has proof of concept to sell to recruits and transfers. He took a one-win team to a final Top 25 ranking in two years - What does the future hold? (79%, 128 Votes)
- That CU (and Travis Hunter) won't have to live with the "first team with a Heisman Trophy winner to finish outside the rankings in 40 years" label (last: Bo Jackson at Auburn, 1985) (14%, 23 Votes)
- That the pundits who would be more than happy to write off CU '25 will have to rethink their narrative. It's more difficult to dismiss a team which finished the season before nationally ranked (7%, 12 Votes)

The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
