CU loses defensive line coach Damione Lewis to Miami. Thoughts?
- We'll have to see what happens. First, whether Coach Prime is interested in bringing in more (experienced) help, and whether any of the linemen follow Lewis to play for Miami. Not a problem - yet (67%, 143 Votes)
- Not a huge loss. Warren Sapp will get a promotion, and the line will have a great season. Tough to lose Lewis, but not a body blow to the line or the team (19%, 41 Votes)
- A big loss. The defensive line made the biggest strides of any unit last season, and Lewis was a big part of the recruitment/development of the line. Sorry to see him go (14%, 28 Votes)

In one NFL.com mock draft, Travis is listed as the No. 1 overall Draft pick. In another, Shedeur is going to go as No. 1. Which is more likely to be accurate?
- Neither will go No. 1 overall. Travis will certainly go in the Top Five, and Shedeur will likely go in the Top Ten, but teams will shy away from picking either as the No. 1 overall draft pick (50%, 101 Votes)
- Travis Hunter as the No. 1 overall pick. Now that the dust is settling on the 2024 NFL season, focus will turn to the Draft. Teams will realize Travis is a unicorn, and the best player in the draft (31%, 62 Votes)
- Shedeur Sanders as the No. 1 overall pick. NFL teams understand their QB is not only the leader of the team, but the face of the franchise. Shedeur is as talented as Cam Ward, and will sell tickets (19%, 40 Votes)

Not asking for who you are rooting for ... Which team do you think will win Super Bowl LIX?
- Philadelphia. The Eagles will be able to run the ball, and have motivation after blowing a two-score lead in Super Bowl LVII. Jalen Hurts and the Eagles prevail (53%, 104 Votes)
- Kansas City. This team finds ways to win. You can't go against a team which was 11-0 in one score games, and has Patrick Mahomes. Chiefs will three-peat (33%, 66 Votes)
- I don't follow pro football enough to form an opinion as to which team will win. I am just hoping for a good game, some good Super Bowl food to eat, and some good Super Bowl commercials! (14%, 28 Votes)

Which assistant coach news this week to you was the best news for CU and the Buff Nation?
- Defensive coordinator Robert Livingston received a raise and an extension. Retention of quality coaches is imperative, and this shows CU is taking Coach Prime (and his goals) seriously (68%, 144 Votes)
- Former All-Big 12 Buff and former NFL All Pro guard Andre Gurode joining as an assistant offensive line coach. A very nice add to the (otherwise very inexperienced) OL coaches room (20%, 42 Votes)
- Hall of Famer Marshall Faulk joins the staff as running backs coach. The defensive line improved when Warren Sapp joined the staff - I'm expecting the same from the running backs this fall (12%, 27 Votes)

Which is the best bet on your Buffs (FanDuel Odds):
- CU a 4.5-point underdog to Georgia Tech in the opener. Yes, the Yellow Jackets have a good returning quarterback, but these Buffs, at home? Pretty sure CU should be the favorite in this game (69%, 85 Votes)
- CU at 16:1 to win the Big 12. Hard to believe that there are seven teams in the conference which Vegas thinks are more likely to win the conference. Good odds to take the Buffs (28%, 34 Votes)
- CU at 200:1 to win the national championship. Yes, things have to break right at QB, offensive line and linebacker, but last year's team was only a few plays away from the CFP (3%, 4 Votes)

The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
