February 27th CU the 9th-best coaching job in the Pac-12? Athlon has published (thanks to Ron Ward for finding this) a ranking of the coaching positions for all of the Division 1 schools. November 30th Larry Scott: Pac-12 staying at 12 Larry Scott, on hand in Palo Alto for the Pac-12 championship game between UCLA and Stanford, gave his “State of the Conference” report Friday. While there will be other quotes of note later tonight, the first one which caught my eye, in terms of quoting, had to do with conference expansion. April 30th Colorado held its own in 2011 NFL draft The Colorado Buffaloes more than held their own in comparison to the rest of the new Pac-12 this weekend. Only one new rival, USC, had more players selected in the first four rounds (four) than did Colorado (three). Cal and Stanford did catch the Buffs with their third picks in the fourth round, but the fact remains that, well through the midway point of the 2011 draft, Colorado was second alone in its new league in number of players drafted. …
