CU at the Game Podcast – “T.I.P.S” for No. 21 CU v. Utah, Friday, 7:30 p.m., MT, FS1
—
The Buffs spotted Arizona a 13-0 lead early, but shut the Wildcats out for the final 43 minutes in posting a 24-13 win in Tucson. The win not only kept CU perfect with a 4-0 record, but earned the Buffs a No. 21 ranking in the AP poll (No. 22 in the USA Today/Coaches’ poll). The Buffs will face two-time defending Pac-12 South champion Utah, with a chance to earn a spot in the Pac-12 title game (there is also the chance that the Buffs, even with a win over Utah, could become the first eligible Power Five team to go undefeated in conference play … and still not earn a chance at a conference championship).
First things first … the Buffs need a win over the Utes to maintain their national ranking and a shot at a title. Colorado is only a three-point favorite at home – what will be the deciding factors for the game? Stuart and Brad will give you their “T.I.P.S.” for Utah at No. 21 Colorado.

Thanks for the podcast. I thought it was a great point at the end about how we exceeded all expectations but could still be disappointed with a 4-2 record at the end. As you said we can play with any of these teams in the PAC12 so I would love to get through the PAC12 clean and perhaps a top10 ranking. That said I just saw on the site that Washington is like likely cancelling their game. Maybe the PAC12 changes pace like the big10 to allow CU to play USC if we are both undefeated this weekend?
It’s possible. If Washington doesn’t play this weekend, the Huskies win the North (4-1; Oregon is 3-2).
If they can’t play next weekend, does the Pac-12 default to 3-2 Oregon, or let two 5-0 teams play?
Makes more sense to have CU v. USC …
