Welcome back, for the second half of my interview with Neill Woelk, who was a sportswriter for the Boulder Daily Camera for three decades, before spending the last decade covering the Buffs as the contributing editor for the CUBuffs.com website.
In this episode, we open with the hiring of Coach Prime at the University of Colorado in December, 2022, and the tidal wave of changes which have come to the CU program since. After reminiscing about the first two seasons of the Coach Prime era in Boulder, we talk about the future for the Buffs in the ever-changing landscape of collegiate athletics, and whether CU will continue to be a player on the national stage.
Neill brings a storied background, and a unique perspective, to Colorado football – past, present, and future – and I think you will enjoy our conversation.
