CU At The Game Podcast – “T.I.P.S.” for CU at Arizona

… The Buff Nation was treated to a second consecutive late night Folsom Field rally, but, unlike the Baylor game a few weeks ago, which finished with a miracle victory, the Buffs’ comeback could not be sustained against No. 18 Kansas State, with CU falling to the Wildcats, 31-28.

I am pleased to be joined for this review/preview episode by Brad Geiger and Neil Langland, and we will be giving you our “T.I.P.S.”, our preview for CU’s trip to the desert to face another set of Wildcats, this time the Wildcats of Arizona.

Before we do our preview, though, we will be taking a few minutes to give you our review of the exciting – if disappointing – loss to No. 18 Kansas State. We will be discussing “The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly” about the Buffs’ loss to the Wildcats from Manhattan, Kansas.

Then, we will move on to the Wildcats of Tucson, Arizona.

For those new to the podcast, our “T.I.P.S.” previews are broken down into categories:

T- Talent
– What CU’s opponents are bringing to the game; which matchups may prove crucial;
I – Intangibles – What off the field issues may impact the outcome;
P – Preparation/Schedule – How the calendar and the weather may play a role; and
S – Statistics – Which numbers should Buff fans be on the lookout for in determining the outcome.

After going through our preview, we will each give you our predictions for the game.

So … Will Arizona’s struggles on offense continue, or will the Wildcats find their way against the Buffs? … Will injuries to CU’s wide receiver corps, coupled with an almost non-existent rushing attack, cripple the Buffs’ offense, or will Shedeur Sanders find new favorites to throw to? … Will the sold out UA Homecoming crowd go home happy, or will the Buffs find their way to win No. 5?

Let’s find out …

  1. Listening to the podcast is getting depressing. Even after wins the “bad” and “ugly”’portions often degrade into being repetitive and make it sound like we lost even if we win. I don’t mind balanced analysis but the podcast too often degrades into overly negative analysis.

    Maybe 20 years of crap leading up to the hiring of Prime has worn you guys down but it seems all too easy to emphasize the bad over the good.

    Just one man’s opinion.
