Colorado has five commits in June for the first time since 2007 ...
- A decent start, but CU will still need some 4- and 5-star recruits to turn things around. (61%, 143 Votes)
- A sure sign of great things to come from this coaching staff. (27%, 63 Votes)
- The number of recruits is fine, but the Buffs are still recruiting two-stars no one else wants. (12%, 28 Votes)
Start Date: June 20, 2011 @ 10:26 am
End Date: No Expiry
Colorado has added five freshman since Signing Day (only one being rated a three-star prospect) ...
- In Embree we trust. The Class was small; coaches had some scholarships to work with. (78%, 151 Votes)
- Disconcerting. If CU is successful, will these two-star prospects being taking up roster space a four- or five-star future prospect could fill? (22%, 43 Votes)
Start Date: June 18, 2011 @ 1:48 pm
End Date: No Expiry
Starting center Mike Iltis will not return for his senior year ...
- Certainly a setback, but the Buffs have three other returning starters, along with quality backups. (52%, 103 Votes)
- The center is pivotal for a successful offensive line. His 15 career starts will be sorely missed. (26%, 52 Votes)
- Not a problem. Daniel Munyer had a great spring; Shawn Daniels adds experienced depth. (22%, 45 Votes)
Start Date: June 16, 2011 @ 7:34 pm
End Date: No Expiry
What Oregon will do with All-American Cliff Harris ...
- Have a "long talk" with him about responsibilities; extra wind sprints. (47%, 71 Votes)
- Suspend him for three games (just not the opener against LSU). (28%, 42 Votes)
- Suspend him for six games - so he'll be back just in time to play against Colorado. (16%, 24 Votes)
- Suspend him for the season. (9%, 14 Votes)
Start Date: June 15, 2011 @ 8:41 am
End Date: No Expiry
RB commit Terrence Crowder lightly recruited (at best). My thoughts ...
- Doesn't matter. EB has worked with many running backs. He knows what he likes. (52%, 138 Votes)
- A little concerned. This recruit wasn't even in Scout's database! (29%, 78 Votes)
- Very concerned. Competing with Texas-San Antonio for recruits? Really?? (19%, 50 Votes)
Start Date: June 13, 2011 @ 6:49 pm
End Date: No Expiry

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
