Which unit on the team is giving you the most concern as Game Week against TCU approaches?
- The offensive line. Two Kent State starters and two holdovers from CU's unproductive line from 2022. Skill position talent means nothing if there are no holes to run through and no time to pass (48%, 156 Votes)
- The backup quarterbacks. Let's face it - the Buffs can be competitive as long as Shedeur Sanders is upright. If Sanders goes down, we might as well start looking forward to 2024 (34%, 112 Votes)
- The defensive line. CU was competitive last season ... for the first half of the first game. Coach Prime wants to build from the outside in ... and may not have gotten the interior part right yet (18%, 59 Votes)

Two weeks out from the start of the Coach Prime era at CU, and the Buffs remain three-touchdown underdogs to No. 17 TCU. Thoughts?
- I love it. TCU, the Fox Big Noon Kickoff Show, and the rest of the nation are going to be shocked at how poorly they underestimated Coach Prime's Buffs. CU serves notice on the nation with an upset (63%, 130 Votes)
- I'm just trying to wrap my head around the fact that CU was humbled by TCU last year, yet the 38-13 final is about what Vegas is predicting for CU's 2023 opener (32%, 65 Votes)
- I hate it. I've been enjoying all of the attention CU has received over the past nine months, and will be saddened to see CU has a ways to go before taking on a ranked team (5%, 11 Votes)

If you were to place a bet on where the Stanford football team will be playing in 2024, where would it be?
- Stanford won't be in a conference. The Cardinal will play as an independent for a few years, then convince the Big Ten to take them and little brother Cal in the next round of realignment (58%, 136 Votes)
- In the Pac-8. The Orphan Four will find a way to cobble together a conference, and Stanford will be the standard bearer ... until the Big Ten is ready to expand again (22%, 53 Votes)
- In the ACC. When you have Stanford's prestige, money, and alumni (Former Secretary of State Condoleezza is lobbying for her alma mater), they'll figure out a way to get an ACC invitation (20%, 47 Votes)

CU Buff Club sets a new record for fundraising, with over $28 million added to the coffers. Thoughts?
- The "Prime Effect" is very real, from season ticket sales to merchandise records to donations. CU's got a difficult road to get to the "haves" and be a part of the Big 2, but this will help (73%, 163 Votes)
- Glad to hear it, but as Rick George noted: "The financial support of Buff Nation will be needed now more than ever as we transition into the Big 12 and continue to navigate the challenges ahead" (15%, 33 Votes)
- The really amazing news is that the Buff Club raised over $8 million more than last year. I guess when Rick said, "We'll find the money" to pay Coach Prime, he knew what he was talking about (12%, 28 Votes)

Five of CU's 2023 opponents are ranked in the Associated Press preseason poll. Thoughts?
- Other than the untouchables like Georgia, Alabama and Ohio State, no one knows how the year will play out. The Buffs could well be a Top 25 team by season's end (38%, 74 Votes)
- Considering Vegas considers CU to be a "Good G5" team (yes, I read the essay), I guess that means that CU has five losses on the schedule. Hope that CU can go 6-1 against the rest and go bowling (33%, 65 Votes)
- Not a surprise that USC and Washington are in the Top Ten. A little surprised that Oregon State is in (No. 18) and UCLA is not (No. 28). Other than v. CU, I hope the orphan Beavers go on a run (29%, 56 Votes)

The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
