CBS Sports has CU as one of the Pac-12's "overrated" teams. Thoughts?
- Let's see. CU was 1-11 last year, and is predicted to win 3.5 games this fall, but is still "overrated"? The pundits really have their knives sharpened for Coach Prime to fail, don't they? (65%, 129 Votes)
- The quote: "The Buffaloes are still likely to finish at the bottom of the league in 2023" tells me everything I need to know. Any writer who refers to the "Buffaloes" doesn't know CU football (19%, 37 Votes)
- I guess it's a matter of perspective. Very few outside of the most rabid Buff fans are predicting huge success for CU, but it's probably true that expectations for this fall may need to be tempered (16%, 34 Votes)

Best guess: Who will be CU's starting running back against TCU on September 2nd?
- Trick question ... McCaskill is the choice if you are talking about the rest of the season, but CU is bringing him along slowly. Edwards will start v. TCU, but it will be McCaskill later (43%, 115 Votes)
- Houston transfer Alton McCaskill. As a freshman for the Cougars, McCaskill had almost 1,000 yards rushing. He's a three-down back, and is CU's best option (22%, 59 Votes)
- Kentucky transfer Kavosiey Smoke. Under the radar for Fall Camp, Smoke has the most experience, and experience for Coach Prime's grand opening will make the difference (20%, 53 Votes)
- Four-star freshman Dylan Edwards. The former Notre Dame commit has been impressing everyone with his speed. My guess is that you'll see #3 as the starter on September 2nd (15%, 43 Votes)

The season opener is now less than ten days away. As the TCU game approaches, rate your level of apprehension that the Coach Prime experiment won't work out as well as hoped
- Low. It's been an amazing nine month ride on the Coach Prime train, and I am more excited than ever to get the season going. CU is going to shock college football - and we'll have front row seats! (48%, 140 Votes)
- Medium. I know there will be disappointments, but you're asking a fan base which endured the humiliation of the 2022 season if they are worried about 2023? Literally cannot be any worse (44%, 129 Votes)
- High. I thought the 20-point spread against the Horned Frogs and the 3.5 over/under win total were absurd when they were first posted, but they haven't moved in months. Perhaps Vegas knows something? (8%, 23 Votes)

WSU President infers that ESPN and Fox conspired to exclude Apple from college football, bringing down the Pac-12. Thoughts?
- Just wondering ... If WSU had been thrown a life preserver and invited into the Big 12 or the Big Ten, would it's President be so worried about the exclusion of streaming from college football? (43%, 74 Votes)
- Makes sense. If the Pac-12 doesn't sign a contract with Apple, the streaming service is out of football for at least the next five years. May have been a smart business move - with consequences (40%, 69 Votes)
- As Schulz admitted: “People can say, ‘Kirk, put on a tin-foil hat; that’s kind of (a) conspiracy theory' ''. A president shouldn't make serious accusations without some measure of proof (17%, 30 Votes)

ESPN: "It wouldn't be surprising to see TCU hang half-a-hundred on the Buffaloes". Thoughts?
- This is getting really old. The coaching staff could set up bulletin boards from one end of the practice facility to the other to contain all of the negative press. Let's get to playing already! (55%, 183 Votes)
- You're freakin' kidding, right? TCU beat the worst team in the Power Five last year, 38-13, and lost eight starters to the NFL - and TCU is going to score 50+ on this year's team? No chance (34%, 112 Votes)
- If ESPN had said, "It's going to be a shootout between CU and TCU, with the winner scoring half a hundred", I might have given them a pass ... but they didn't say that. It's all anti-CU (11%, 37 Votes)

The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
