Colorado moves up four spots in both the AP and USA Today/Coaches poll (to No. 18 in the AP; No. 21 in the Coaches). Thoughts?
- Rankings are just the icing on the cake. Beating up on the Cornhuskers is the real reward. I'm going to savor this victory for some time (at least until we beat up on the Rammies next weekend!) (57%, 211 Votes)
- Great recognition for what the Buffs have accomplished. One of only two Power Five teams (Utah the other) with two Power Five wins. "We comin'!" quickly being replaced by "We here!" (23%, 87 Votes)
- It's nice recognition, but it really doesn't mean anything in early September. Once CU gets to six wins and bowl-eligibility, I'll start paying attention to standings and rankings (20%, 74 Votes)

No. 22 Colorado 36, Nebraska 14. Thought?
- Three straight wins over the hated Huskers! It is bad of me to be upset that the Corn got a touchdown in the last minute? A beautiful win - let's go get the Rammies! (47%, 192 Votes)
- Incredible win! Younger fans might not fully appreciate how huge this win is! A great day for the Buffs! We comin'! (32%, 132 Votes)
- The final score doesn't really tell the whole story. If it wasn't for some first half turnovers by Nebraska, it might have been a different game. Plenty to work on going forward (21%, 87 Votes)

It's time! Your prediction for Nebraska at No. 22 Colorado (Saturday, 10:00 a.m., MT, Fox):
- The Cornhuskers' strength in the lines may frustrate the Buffs for much of the game. It will be tense, but CU will post its third-straight single digit victory over the hated Huskers (48%, 181 Votes)
- It's pretty simple: CU has great skill position players; Nebraska does not. Buffs have momentum; Cornhuskers do not. Buffs overwhelm Cornhuskers in cruising to a delicious double-digit victory (41%, 154 Votes)
- The closer the game gets, the more nervous I get. Nebraska has something TCU did not - game film. I don't want to predict against my Buffs, but I can see a scenario in which Nebraska wins this game (11%, 45 Votes)

Rate your level of dislike/distain/hatred for the Nebraska Cornhuskers?
- High. Coach Mac I decided on our rival 40 years ago, and the hatred is permanently ingrained. My two favorite teams for life: CU ... and whoever is playing Nebraska (77%, 380 Votes)
- Medium. This is certainly a week in which my ire is raised, and I will yell louder than normal this weekend. After that? Pretty indifferent about the Cornhuskers (14%, 70 Votes)
- Low. Yes, I care deeply about the results of this game, but I will be just as invested in seeing if the Buffs can take down Oregon and/or USC later this month (9%, 42 Votes)
Start Date: September 6, 2023 @ 4:41 pm

Based upon CU's upset of TCU (and national Top 25 rankings), what is your revised win total projections for the Buffs?
- 6-7 wins. A bowl bid definitely seems to be a realistic goal. There are tough games ahead, and the defense is still suspect. I'd be happy with a bowl bid and a winning season (64%, 219 Votes)
- 8-9 wins. With Oregon, USC, Oregon State and Utah still on the schedule, 8 or 9 wins would make for a great season - and I'm not counting out a double-digit win season! (29%, 97 Votes)
- 4-5 wins. I know that it a losing season sounds like a low estimate, but one game does not give us a fair sample. Oh, and the Pac-12 went 12-0 this past weekend, so there are only a few for-sure wins (7%, 24 Votes)

The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
