Coach Prime deflects any thoughts about taking the open Texas A&M job. Thoughts?
- Guess it comes with the territory. I'd rather have Coach Prime be a hot commodity than not, but CU will have him for at least another year (Shedeur and Travis have one more year together) (61%, 159 Votes)
- Not a bit concerned. Coach Prime isn't leaving CU with a losing record, and the Texas A&M fat cats won't be interested in an unproven Power Five coach (25%, 65 Votes)
- Kind of concerned. It was sort of a non-denial denial. We know that nothing is set in stone, but I would have preferred the vehement denial made by Oregon's Dan Lanning (14%, 38 Votes)

Which factoid about the CU women being ranked No. 5 and the men being ranked No. 25 to you is the most surprising?
- That we are talking basketball with two weeks of football to go. I do appreciate a fall with the football team and both basketball teams cracking the Top 25. Well done, Buffs! (65%, 122 Votes)
- That the CU women have not only been ranked in the Top 5 before, but have spent 23 weeks in the Top 5 in their history, topping out at No. 2 in 1995 (19%, 35 Votes)
- That the CU men are back in the poll for the first time since the end of the 2020-21 season, and only the second time since 1970 that the men have appeared in the first regular season poll (16%, 30 Votes)

Colorado opens as a 5.5-point road underdog to Washington State (Friday, 8:30 p.m., MT, FS1). Thoughts?
- The lines keep coming down, and the Buffs keep beating the spread. This time, the Buffs finally get over the hump and post a "W" on Friday night (65%, 146 Votes)
- The line keeps coming down, and the Buffs keep finding a way to lose. Another close - and disappointing loss - late Friday night in the cold in Pullman (23%, 51 Votes)
- The "Battle for the Basement". Both teams are 1-6 in Pac-12 play, and both are on long losing streaks. The Cougars are at home, and will pull away late - take Washington State and give the points (12%, 28 Votes)

No. 23 Arizona 34, Colorado 31. Thoughts?
- Arizona came in as a ranked team with three straight wins against ranked teams, but didn't lead CU until the clocks read 0:00. A tough beat, but the Buffs played well (45%, 115 Votes)
- You are what your record says you are, and the Buffs are 4-6, with four straight losses - and four straight losses at home for the first time since 2015. The rose is off the Coach Prime bloom (32%, 82 Votes)
- It just bothers me that the narrative for the next nine months will be that Coach Prime and the Buffs aren't back. A win would have made for a shorter - and more pleasant - off-season (23%, 60 Votes)

It's time! Your prediction for Colorado v. No. 23 Arizona (Saturday, Noon, MT, Pac-12 Networks)
- Arizona has been punching above its weight, and the Buffs are due for a complete game in all three phases. I see CU with a victory on Senior Day! (41%, 79 Votes)
- This is probably going to be another one of those games that we look back at in February and say, "What if ... ?". Arizona wins, but Buffs come in under the double-digit spread (40%, 77 Votes)
- Two teams heading in opposite directions. Arizona has beaten three straight ranked opponents. The only saving grace? The game will be over mid-afternoon, instead of midnight. Wildcats in a rout (19%, 38 Votes)

The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
