Which of the following non-conference games would be most likely to get your bet?
- CU -8.0 at Colorado State. Sure, the Rams could have (should have) won last year, but the Buffs have plenty to prove, and will take it out on the Rams in a Ft. Collins rout (44%, 64 Votes)
- CU +6.5 at Nebraska. The oddsmakers do realize that the Cornhuskers haven't had a winning season since 2016, and are starting a freshman quarterback? This could be a loss, but it will be close (38%, 55 Votes)
- CU -8.5 v. North Dakota State. With trick plays and odd formations, the Bison will keep it close for awhile, but the Buffs will pull comfortably away in the second half (18%, 27 Votes)

What concerns you the most about the opener against North Dakota State?
- That North Dakota State has a history of taking down FBS programs (six out of the last seven games), and will have a month to prepare for the CU game (48%, 102 Votes)
- That North Dakota State is only a touchdown underdog ... wait a minute ... I am not concerned about this game. If CU can't beat the Bison, then there's little point in going on with the rest of 2024 (30%, 64 Votes)
- That North Dakota State is projected to be the No. 2 team in the FCS, and has a number of stars - including their starting quarterback - coming back this season (22%, 46 Votes)

Which storyline of the weekend do you like the best?
- Athlon: "Colorado will once again be under the spotlight ... But this time, the Buffaloes could produce their first winning record in a full season since 2016" (57%, 86 Votes)
- Lindy's has seven Buffs on its preseason All-Big 12 team (third-most in the conference), including three first-team All-Big 12 honorees (Sanders; Hunter; and Green) (25%, 37 Votes)
- Warren Sapp on defensive lineman BJ Green: "He loves close contact. He loves the phone booth, which I love, because you all know who else loves working the phone booth? Superman!" (18%, 28 Votes)

Which quote from Fox announcer (and former Buff) Joel Klatt do you like the best?
- "If they’re able to protect Shedeur Sanders … I think that Colorado can win eight games, I think they can double their win total from a year ago" (54%, 74 Votes)
- "If they were to get into (the Big 12 championship game) they’d be 60 minutes from the college football playoff. It’s not out of the realm of possibility" (40%, 55 Votes)
- "Was Coach Prime a success in Year One? Sanders delivered a 400 percent increase in wins - wouldn't you consider that a success?" (6%, 9 Votes)
Start Date: June 14, 2024 @ 4:11 pm

Report: Big 12 Conference in negotiations to sell naming rights to the conference. Thoughts?
- I would be okay with the renaming of the conference, but this translates to only $2 - $3 million per team. In a world where teams need an extra $40 million per year, the price tag is way too low (53%, 72 Votes)
- I like it. If all it takes is to get $30 - $50 million per year for the conference is to rename the (misnamed) Big 12 the "Big Allstate Conference", I'm all in! (26%, 36 Votes)
- Please, tell me this isn't happening. I can deal with a Big 12 which has 16 teams, but renaming the conference is stepping over the line of good taste ... and good sense (21%, 28 Votes)

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy???
