Which of the following quotes from new defensive coordinator Robert Livingston gives you the most optimism?
- “This is a player-driven system. … I think when any new coach or new coordinator comes in, everybody’s got a blank slate and I think that’s good for all parties involved" (40%, 48 Votes)
- "I was phenomenally fortunate to walk in here and have a staff intact, guys that know the players. So you find yourself earning their trust, as well as the players’ trust" (38%, 46 Votes)
- “If you get a jersey, you’ve got to play. So whether you’re a young player, whether you’re a niche player, whatever it may be, we should carve out a role for you if you’re going to be here" (22%, 27 Votes)

No. 5 seed (and No. 17 overall) CU women fall to No. 1 seed (and No. 2 overall) Iowa, 89-68. Thoughts?
- A tough loss, but a great season. The Buffs spent the entire season ranked in the Top 25, and most of it in the Top Ten. Tough to lose to a great team, but it doesn't tarnish the season (54%, 103 Votes)
- Hard to complain when we are still talking about CU basketball the last weekend in March. Only one men's team and one women's team ends the season with a "W". Just wish it would have been closer (34%, 64 Votes)
- The largest television crowd to watch a CU women's game, and the Buffs laid an egg. I hope that this rout doesn't come back to haunt Coach Payne when it's time to ask transfers to come to Boulder (12%, 22 Votes)

Prediction Time: No. 5 seed CU women v. No. 1 seed Iowa (Saturday, 1:30 p.m., MT, ABC):
- The Buffs just beat Kansas State, a team which won two of its last three against Iowa, on the road against a sold out crowd. Look out nation: Buffs in a huge upset!! (61%, 88 Votes)
- I can see the Buffs staying close to Iowa for much of the game (as they did in the Sweet Sixteen last year), but Clark and Co. are built for a title run. CU's great season ends Saturday (30%, 43 Votes)
- Kind of concerned about this one. This is basically another road game, against a quality team and a hostile crowd. Hoping for the best, but I'm afraid this one is going to be an Iowa blowout (9%, 14 Votes)

CU receives a commitment from three-star cornerback Ebenezer “Ben” Bouzi. Thoughts?
- In an off-season when CU is in need of offensive and defensive linemen (and a few linebackers), I'm not sure if this is the best use of a scholarship ... We'll see how the roster shakes out (48%, 71 Votes)
- A nice pickup. Bouzi had offers from the likes of Florida State, Louisville, Maryland and Pitt, so this will be a nice addition to the defensive backfield. Welcome, Mr. Bouzi! (43%, 63 Votes)
- I'm not sure about the timing. Bouzi had a decent offer sheet, but why didn't he commit to a school in December or February? Rivals had him as a two-star prospect, maybe they're onto something (9%, 14 Votes)

Eddie Lampkin and J'Vonne Hadley enter the Transfer Portal. Thoughts?
- Just the nature of the beast these days. Coach Boyle is just going to have to take advantage of CU's record-setting season to attract quality replacements in the Portal. Let's see what CU brings in (49%, 124 Votes)
- Devastating. With three Buffs likely heading for the draft, the loss of two more starters means the Buffs are starting over ... while entering the gauntlet which is Big 12 men's basketball (30%, 76 Votes)
- The 2023-24 season was a record-setter. For the moment, I'm just going to savor the great moments of the season. Thank you, Eddie and J'Vonne for a great season and some great memories (21%, 53 Votes)

The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
