Coach Prime: "I’ve never been high, but I’ve been close here, being the coach at Colorado. I don’t know what y’all do, but between those 40s, it goes down. Jesus Christ". Thoughts?
- Taken in context, it's funny. Coach Prime was on campus, promoting his book. And, oh, by the way, he isn't wrong ... and that was true even before pot was legalized (69%, 89 Votes)
- Not a good look for Coach Prime. In an off-season when he is being criticized for not wanting to be a college football coach, it calls into question if he is even paying attention during games (19%, 25 Votes)
- Not a good look for CU. I doubt that the higher ups (no pun intended) are pleased in having CU student body being portrayed as a bunch of stoners (12%, 15 Votes)

Rate your interest in how the CU men's and women's teams are being rebuilt through the Transfer Portal
- High. Both rosters are being almost completely rebuilt. After record-setting runs by both teams, I'm interested to see how Coaches Boyle and Payne reload (53%, 98 Votes)
- Medium. I'll take note when there is a signing, but as a practical matter, I won't be too dialed into basketball again until next winter, when the Buffs open Big 12 play (38%, 70 Votes)
- Low. My interest in basketball is tangential, like most fans. I'll read through bios of a half dozen potential football transfers before I would take the time to follow the basketball rosters (9%, 17 Votes)

Which of the following recent headlines to you is the most interesting?
- That Coach Prime's daughter, Shelomi Sanders, is leaving the CU women's basketball team and entering the Transfer Portal. So ... after this season, Coach Prime won't have any kids left at CU (46%, 91 Votes)
- That former CU Buff Chauncey Billups is reportedly going to be on the Hall of Fame announcement list this weekend. Nice to have a former Buff acknowledged on the national stage (46%, 91 Votes)
- That Xavier Weaver ran a reported 4.42 in the 40 at his Pro Timing Day at CU. Looks like we might have a Buff taken in the NFL Draft after all (projected as a 6th rounder by ESPN) (8%, 18 Votes)

Which of the following quotes from Ari Wasserman (The Athletic) about Coach Prime's recruiting philosophy to you stings the most?
- "It's becoming abundantly clear that his stint as CU’s coach is going to be short. He’s detailing a beautiful car so it looks nice, but he’s not working on the engine. After this year, he's gone?" (63%, 109 Votes)
- "He has plenty of time for book tours, but the man didn’t make one off-campus recruiting contact last year. What’s the point of being famous if you aren’t going to use it in all aspects of the job?" (19%, 33 Votes)
- "It’s not putting in the work that scares me. It’s not embracing what it takes to be a college football coach and disguising that with misleading statements about being different" (18%, 31 Votes)

CU sets Black and Gold weekend including a talent show, and "elite" dinner, and a Lil Wayne concert. Thoughts?
- I like it! The name of the game is exposure and raising dollars, and Coach Prime and CU are good at both. A good weekend of fundraising and football - I can't wait! (55%, 97 Votes)
- I'm just amazed/surprised/disappointed that the game will only be shown on the Pac-12 Networks. I wasn't expecting a repeat visit from ESPN, but I was expecting to get some national coverage (31%, 55 Votes)
- Not super excited. The cost for the game went up 50% (from $10 to $15), and the tickets are just now going on sale. How will the national media react when Folsom is only half filled? (14%, 24 Votes)

The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
