No. 26 Colorado v. No. 4 Oregon (Thursday, 7:00 p.m., ESPN2). Prediction?
- Buffs have been gunning for this game since it was announced. Buffs take down Ducks before a packed house at the CU Events Center (53%, 146 Votes)
- The Buffs are better, and played a great game against Dayton, but I foresee a close (and frustrating) loss (24%, 67 Votes)
- No. 4 Oregon has wins over No. 13 Memphis, No. 13 Seton Hall and No. 5 Michigan. The Ducks won't be intimidated by the setting, and (unfortunately) will handle turnover-prone CU with relative ease (23%, 63 Votes)
Start Date: January 1, 2020 @ 7:25 pm
End Date: No Expiry
What Boulder Daily Camera second-team all-decade player deserves to be on the first team?
- Cornerback Isaiah Oliver - Good enough to be selected in the second round of the NFL Draft despite foregoing his senior season. Worth a $4.3 million contract to the Atlanta Falcons (54%, 108 Votes)
- Cornerback Ahkello Witherspoon - Deserves to be first team based on his interception in the 2016 Oregon game alone (22%, 43 Votes)
- Offensive lineman Tim Lynott, Jr. - In an under-performing line, Lynott was a consistent performer for four years (14%, 27 Votes)
- Quarterback Steven Montez - Despite his faults, he is the all-time leading passer in CU history, not just the past decade (10%, 21 Votes)
Start Date: December 31, 2019 @ 8:08 pm
End Date: No Expiry
Which quote from incoming defensive star Antonio Alfano do you like the best?
- On coming to CU: "A no brainer: There’s no other coach that I have as good of a relationship with than coach Tucker" (60%, 171 Votes)
- "I like having pressure on me ... That’s a big motivator all in itself. I take everything that comes with (the expectations)" (23%, 67 Votes)
- On possibly playing outside linebacker: "I’m really excited, because their plan for me is to move me everywhere" (17%, 48 Votes)
Start Date: December 30, 2019 @ 6:57 pm
End Date: No Expiry
Buffs finish non-conference play with an 11-2 record. Thoughts?
- Tell you what - beat No. 6 Oregon on Thursday, and all will be forgiven. The Buffs will be back in good graces with the Buff Nation, the polls, and the bracketologists. Can CU take down the Ducks? (42%, 120 Votes)
- Right about where we thought they would be. Probably should have lost to Dayton and beaten Northern Iowa. Good to go for Pac-12 play (40%, 113 Votes)
- Maddeningly inconsistent. If the Buffs can't solve their turnover problems, they are going to disappoint when Pac-12 begins this weekend (18%, 51 Votes)
Start Date: December 29, 2019 @ 7:49 pm
End Date: No Expiry
What is your takeaway from USC's and Washington State's bowl losses?
- That the Pac-12 is down, just like the pundits say. The flagship school gets smoked by Iowa, while Washington State loses to a G-5 team. Not a good look (60%, 149 Votes)
- That Clay Helton finished with a bad loss (49-24) to Iowa, and will open 2020 with a bad loss to Alabama. Helton will spend all of the 2020 season on the hot seat ... just like this year (30%, 74 Votes)
- That Washington State finished 6-7, and the bloom may have fallen off the rose for Mike Leach. The 2020 season may be the last for the Pirate in Pullman (one way or the other) (10%, 25 Votes)
Start Date: December 28, 2019 @ 7:05 pm
End Date: No Expiry

The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
