Which of the three Pac-12 South "hot seat" coaches will move on first?
  • Arizona's Kevin Sumlin - Sumlin couldn't get anything out of Kahlil Tate, and recruiting has fallen off - that's a bad combination (49%, 123 Votes)
  • USC's Clay Helton - Helton should have been gone this year, and even Mike Bohn won't be able to save Helton after a mediocre 2020 season (41%, 102 Votes)
  • UCLA's Chip Kelly - Kelly may leave of his own volition, but after three straight losing seasons, the bloom will be off the Kelly rose (10%, 24 Votes)

Athlon has only one Pac-12 team in its Way-Too-Early Top 25. Thoughts?
  • Interesting that only two CU opponents (Oregon; Texas A&M) are ranked. The 2020 season is a season of opportunity for Tucker & Co. to make some noise in the Pac-12! (66%, 106 Votes)
  • Pac-12 being disrespected - again. Oregon, Utah, Washington and USC are all Top 25-worthy teams. These rankings will change before September (19%, 31 Votes)
  • Sounds about right. Oregon will reload with its last two Top 10 ranked recruiting Classes, while Utah, Washington and USC all have question marks heading into the fall (15%, 23 Votes)

Washington State coach Mike Leach hired by Mississippi State. Your initial reaction?
  • It will be interesting to see who Washington State hires. If it's not an Air Raid aficionado, the WSU offense may be out of sync for the next few seasons (45%, 143 Votes)
  • This is good news for CU, as WSU and Leach have been a thorn in CU's side (especially in games played in Pullman). Looking forward to adding more W's to CU's win column in years to come (42%, 133 Votes)
  • Look out, SEC West! It will be interesting to see how Leach's Air Raid offense fares against the physical defenses of the SEC (13%, 40 Votes)

Which of the following quotes from defensive lineman Na'im Rodman do you like the best?

  • “Coming here, I knew I had to compete. Keep working. Just do what I gotta do to get ready and help the team any way I can" (7%, 16 Votes)
  • "I’m going to get better and they’re not going to think I’m such a young guy anymore" (6%, 15 Votes)

At the midway point of 2019-20 regular season, the Buffs are 12-3. How do you see the remainder of the season playing out?
  • Buffs will earn their first Pac-12 tournament bye (No. 4 seed or higher), and will wear a white jersey in the first round of the NCAA tournament (No. 8 seed or higher) (50%, 127 Votes)
  • The Buffs will stumble, but will be a high seed in the Pac-12 tournament, and will sneak into the NCAA tournament as a double digit seed (and be one-and-done) (37%, 94 Votes)
  • After the humbling loss to Oregon State, I'm not sure this team will make it to the NCAA tournament. This season may turn into a long run in the NIT (again), missing out on March Madness altogether (13%, 35 Votes)

  1. The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!

  2. Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.

  3. Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
