CU picks up its second commitment from the Recruiting Class of 2021. Thoughts?
- Like it. Mr. Nelson is 6'5", 310-pounds in high school, and is another recruit from the Denver area. You can't teach size, so it's all good! (54%, 161 Votes)
- We'll see. Nelson just switched over to the offensive side of the ball last year. If he has an all-state year as a senior, I will be very happy with this commitment - regardless of his Rivals rating (40%, 121 Votes)
- No Power-Five offers or recruiting rating. I thought we were getting past the days when CU wouldn't be settling for winning recruiting battles against Colorado State (6%, 17 Votes)

No. 23 CU takes down Washington, 76-62. Thoughts?
- Excellent team victory. Twenty-two assists on 29 baskets; holding a double-digit lead for over 30 minutes of game clock? Love it! (39%, 110 Votes)
- We'll see about March in March. For now, it's the first win over Washington in six tries, and (will be) a record-setting ninth week in the polls. I'll take it (37%, 106 Votes)
- Okay. The Buffs are 5-2, but only four of the final 11 games are at home. Let's see if the Buffs can take their magic on the road (24%, 67 Votes)

CU has a 4-2 Pac-12 record one-third of the way through conference play. Where will the Buffs end up?
- I can see the Buffs maintaining a similar record in each third, finishing 12-6 ... and in the top four for the first time (71%, 142 Votes)
- I can see the Buffs finishing around 10-8 (again), and finishing around 5th in the conference .. again (23%, 47 Votes)
- The Buffs are 4-2 ... with four of six games at home. After the UW game, the Buffs will finish with seven of their final 11 games on the road. This inconsistent team could finish 9-9 ... or worse (6%, 12 Votes)
Start Date: January 24, 2020 @ 7:24 pm
End Date: No Expiry
No. 23 Colorado pulls away from Washington State for a 78-56 win. Thoughts?
- A win is a win is a win. Love it when we can nit-pick about a ranked team with a 15-4 record. The Cougars just swept the Oregon schools, so I'll take a 22-point conference win any day (53%, 140 Votes)
- A solid team victory. Without Tyler Bey in the lineup, Siewert, Battey and Wright had double-doubles. Nice! (36%, 94 Votes)
- Still a tough team to watch. The Buffs were sloppy again with the ball - 14 turnovers won't cut it against a better opponent (11%, 29 Votes)
Start Date: January 23, 2020 @ 10:50 pm
End Date: No Expiry
CU Athletic Director Rick George named to College Football Playoff Selection Committee. Thoughts?
- Like it. Another indication (along with George's participation on the NIL committee) that George is well respected nationally ... and it's good publicity for CU overall (54%, 147 Votes)
- I just hope that at some point in his three year term on the CFP Selection Committee that George has to recuse himself for a time ... while CU's ranking is being debated (43%, 116 Votes)
- Just wondering ... With George spending so much time on national committees, does he have enough time to take of business in the Champions Center? (3%, 8 Votes)

The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
