Colorado ranked No. 20 in the initial College Football Playoff rankings. Thoughts?
- I'm just glad to be living in a world where CU is 6-2, while Nebraska is flaming out (oh, and I don't mind USC imploding, either). Just enjoying the ride - Go Buffs! (57%, 127 Votes)
- Love it! CU is a great position, with each November victory, to move up the rankings. Welcome back to the national stage, Buffs! Nice to see CU getting recognition (36%, 80 Votes)
- Not sure CU belongs in the Top 25. The losses to Kansas State and (especially) Nebraska will disqualify CU from making the final cut (short of a Big 12 title), so I'd rather stay under the radar (7%, 15 Votes)

Which of the following quotes from Coach Prime's weekly press conference do you like the best?
- "We’re here, and we’re thankful, we’re happy, we’re excited, we’re elated, but we’re not done, and we cannot wait to get to Lubbock to do what we’re gifted to do" (40%, 82 Votes)
- “We don’t care about (being ranked No. 21 in the AP poll). I mean, every game is a playoff game to us. It’s been that way all season" (34%, 70 Votes)
- “They thought they were going to get chewed out (when he stopped practice Tuesday to talk to the team). I said, thank you. I like this. I like what I’m seeing" (26%, 51 Votes)

Kickoff for Colorado v. Utah set for 10:00 a.m., MT, on Fox. Thoughts?
- Great news! Another nationally televised game, and, if CU beats Texas Tech, likely a visit from Fox Big Noon Sports. More publicity for Travis! A great day for the Buff Nation! (46%, 105 Votes)
- If the CU at Kansas game gets picked up by a national network (which is likely), CU will go 12-for-12 on nationally televised games. A long ways away from Pac-12 After Dark games! (36%, 81 Votes)
- I hate it. With the Black Friday game against Oklahoma State also set for 10:00 a.m., this means CU will zero afternoon home games. Good for the program - lousy for fans. Sigh! (18%, 41 Votes)

Colorado opens as a 3.0-point road favorite over Texas Tech (2:00 p.m., MT, Fox). Thoughts?
- Goes to show how close this game could be. If Texas Tech hadn't defeated Iowa State, this might be a two-score line. Buffs need to be wary, and then take care of business on Saturday (60%, 154 Votes)
- I'm worried about this game. Texas Tech showed that they can take down a ranked team as a double-digit underdog. With Big Noon Saturday on hand, the crowd will be frenzied ... Could be a loss (31%, 80 Votes)
- Just like seemingly every other CU game, the line will move in the Buffs' favor as the week goes on. Going to be a big CU win, so take the Buffs and give the points now! (9%, 23 Votes)

Texas Tech knocks off previously unbeaten and 11th-ranked Iowa State - on the road - 23-22. Thoughts?
- Good news for the Buffs. The Cyclones now have a loss in Big 12 play (and K-State now has two). CU's path to the Big 12 title game is much clearer than it was before (60%, 185 Votes)
- Good news for the Buffs. No chance CU will be overlooking a team which just won a big game on the road. No worries about a let down in preparation for next Saturday's game in Lubbock (31%, 95 Votes)
- Bad news for the Buffs. I would have much preferred to have Texas Tech come into the game on a three-game losing streak. Saturday's game looks much more difficult than it did before this weekend (9%, 28 Votes)

The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
