CU Quarterbacks coach Danny Langsdorf: "I think we have three really capable guys, maybe four ... We're going to have awesome competition". Thoughts?
- I just hope that the competition produces a clear winner by mid-August, so that CU can enter the 2021 season with a clear direction - and a clear leader under center (68%, 164 Votes)
- I very excited about this year's quarterbacks room. I'm not sure who will win the quarterback battle, but the competition should give Buff fans their best signal caller in years (22%, 53 Votes)
- "If a coach says they have two quarterbacks, what they are really saying is that they don't have any". What does it mean when they say they have "three or four"? Concerned ... (10%, 23 Votes)

Is giving CSU a home-and-home series (rather than a 2-for-1) a bad look for the Buffs?
- No. There is no way that CU should be playing all P-5 schools in non-conference games, and CSU (and Air Force) are the best ways to a sell out at Folsom, and the rivalry creates local media interest (52%, 108 Votes)
- Yes. Giving a G-5 school equal footing is a bad look for any P-5 school. CSU needs CU more than CU needs CSU. Rick George should have held out for a better deal, or walked away from the series (26%, 54 Votes)
- Not sure. It would be nice to have a 2-for-1 deal with CSU, but was it even possible? Schools without an 80,000-100,000-seat capacity really aren't usually in position to demand 2-for-1 deals (22%, 45 Votes)

CU and CSU agree to add six games (between 2029 and 2038) to the Rocky Mountain Showdown. Thoughts?
- It's fine. CU won't (and shouldn't) schedule all P-5 non-conference games. If you are going to go with G-5 games, you may as well get sell-outs, and generate in-state interest (53%, 143 Votes)
- Not a fan. CU should have put CSU in the rearview mirror forever at the end of the RMS contract. And now it's a home-and-home? Elevating CSU (should be 2-for-1) while playing a no-win series? Yuck (28%, 76 Votes)
- Like it. Eight games total, spread out over 18 years. It keeps the rivalry alive, but doesn't force the Buffs to have the Rams on the schedule every year (two on; two off starting in 2029 works) (19%, 52 Votes)

Which of the following freshmen (making an impression this spring) do you think will have the greatest impact this fall?
- Cornerback Tyrin Taylor. Simply put, he could be this year's Christian Gonzalez. He could be that good ... and get on the field that quickly (34%, 73 Votes)
- Offensive tackle Jake Wiley. He may not be the most talented of the freshmen, but he may be the most likely to see the field this fall (24%, 52 Votes)
- Safety Ray Robinson. A talented player in a position of need. If Robinson can learn the defense, he could be an important factor this fall (21%, 45 Votes)
- Running back Jayle Stacks. As coach Dorrell puts it, "he's a load to bring down". (At a minimum), Stacks will be on the field for short yardage situations this fall (21%, 44 Votes)

Which quote about CU's defense from the first two weeks of spring practices do you find to be the most encouraging?
- Karl Dorrell: "They like our scheme. It’s more player-friendly. We're not having as many checks ... You’re seeing so much more communication" (56%, 109 Votes)
- Karl Dorrell on transfer linebacker Robert Barnes: “You can feel his presence on the field ... He’s had a lot of experience ... I think he’s going to be a really good piece for us" (30%, 59 Votes)
- DC Chris Wilson on DT Janaz Jordan: “Janaz has been a pleasant surprise from a year ago ... He’s got a lot of growth in him. He’s got a really high ceiling" (14%, 26 Votes)

The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
