CU ranked 8th in the Pac-12 in Transfer Portal grades for the 2020-21 offseason. Thoughts?
- Way too early to post any grades. If you are going on high school rankings, CU picked up several four star players. Whether they work out - or if players CU lost work out - is to be determined (63%, 134 Votes)
- Bogus. CU acquired a quality QB (Shrout); OL (Wray); and two linebackers (Barnes and Lamb) ... and didn't give up that much except for scholarships which weren't being utilized. (30%, 63 Votes)
- Probably about right. CU did lose K.D. Nixon, Tyler Lytle, Derrion Rakestraw, as well as several other contributors. Probably a net wash for the program (7%, 16 Votes)

Which of my following "Likely Loss" games do you see the Buffs having the best chance at an upset?
- Oct. 2nd - USC - The only one of the four at home. The Buffs had a 10-point fourth quarter lead the last time USC was in Boulder. This time, the Buffs will end the streak (0-14 all-time v. USC) (59%, 120 Votes)
- Nov. 26th - at Utah - I know the Buffs are 2-8 v. Utah since joining the Pac-12, but the Utes will not be as good this year, and if the Buffs need a win in the finale to go bowling - they'll get it (22%, 45 Votes)
- Sept. 11th - v. Texas A&M - It will be a great atmosphere at Mile High, and the Buffs (with only Northern Colorado before the A&M game) can focus their attention on beating the Aggies (16%, 33 Votes)
- Oct. 30th - at Oregon - The 2016 team won in Eugene, and the Ducks have their showdown against Washington the following week. The Buffs catch the Ducks looking ahead to their game in Seattle (3%, 6 Votes)

CU announces non-conference kickoff schedule (UNC: 7:00 p.m. (Fri.), Pac-12 Networks; Texas A&M: 1:30 p.m., FOX; Minnesota: 11:00 a.m., Pac-12 Networks). Thoughts?
- Livable ... At least the UNC game isn't later than 7:00 p.m.; the A&M is an afternoon game; and at least Minnesota isn't at 10:00 a.m. - I can make this work (38%, 66 Votes)
- Love it ... The UNC Friday night kickoff was a given; CU gets A&M on national television during the day; and will get a chance to make a statement early in the day v. Minnesota (31%, 54 Votes)
- Sad ... Two games on the Pac-12 Networks (read: no audience), including a breakfast game v. Minnesota. The only national game? A likely blowout loss. Color me unimpressed ... (31%, 53 Votes)

CU offensive coordinator Darrin Chiaverini: "The goal, to me is 30 (points per game) or more". Thoughts?
- All I know is ... if Chiaverini's offense doesn't improve significantly in 2021 (CU averaged 28.5 points per game in 2020), Chiaverini may be looking for another job in 2022 (45%, 86 Votes)
- Like it. As the article says, 85% of Pac-12 teams averaging 30 points per game had winning records or at least a bowl bid. I'd be pretty satisfied if CU went to eight bowl games this decade (34%, 66 Votes)
- Not much of a goal, actually. Last season, scoring 30 points per game was only good enough for 53rd in the nation. I'd like to think our offensive coordinator has his sight set higher than that (21%, 41 Votes)

DraftKings has set the over/under for CU's win total at: 4.5. Thoughts?
- Probably low, but we'll see how the next few months unfold. Ask me again when CU has its quarterback, and a good prognosis on Nate Landman (and maybe another safety?!) (50%, 114 Votes)
- Probably about right. A&M, Oregon, USC, and Washington are likely losses, which means the Buffs will need five wins out of the remaining eight games. Possible, but I'm not betting on it (32%, 73 Votes)
- Way too low. Let me guess, this was the same Vegas that set CU's win total for the 2020 season (for a planned for seven-game season) at 1.5 wins. Take the bet - easy money! (18%, 43 Votes)

The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
