Which of CU Athletic Director Rick George's comments about incoming Pac-12 commissioner George Kliavkoff do you like the best?
- “The ADs requested the meeting because we want to work with him from Day One. It was candid, it was transparent, and it got me fired up about what lies ahead" (48%, 81 Votes)
- “We’re not pausing, and he’s not pausing. This AD group is very supportive of George, and we want to work with him. I came out of the meeting very energized about the future" (38%, 64 Votes)
- "We discussed all the important items. Everybody had the ability to weigh in ... I liked that he wants to come on our campuses and spend time meeting people" (14%, 24 Votes)

The news story with the greatest significance (at least to you) from Monday ...
- That CU announced that Folsom Field and the CU Events Center will be at 100% capacity. I can't wait to see a full stadium and CEC this fall (41%, 97 Votes)
- The Supreme Court rules against the NCAA in the Alston case. Fans may not see it yet, but this is the beginning of the end of the NCAA as we know it (38%, 90 Votes)
- That CU lost a commitment from defensive end Carlton Madden. Seen it before: 1) CU identifies a talent; 2) player goes to camps and recruitment blows up; and 3) CU loses commitment. Sad. (21%, 49 Votes)

Which of Dave Plati's Top Heartbreak Moments in CU History would be tops on your list?
- The 1990 Orange Bowl - The Buffs were 11-0 and No. 1 heading into the Orange Bowl with the national title there for the taking. Missed opportunities in the first half cost CU in the loss to the Irish (59%, 137 Votes)
- The 1994 loss to Nebraska. If you look at the NFL talent on that team, it was probably the best in CU history. Nebraska just picked the wrong year for Osborne to win his first national championship (36%, 84 Votes)
- The 2021 men's basketball team falling flat against Florida State. The rout of Georgetown showed us what was possible, and a Sweet Sixteen bid was there for the taking (5%, 12 Votes)

CU will have its highest ever salary pool for assistant coaches, at $3.455 million. Thoughts?
- Nice to see at least some incremental increases in salaries, but CU is still way behind (Chiaverini was the 153rd-highest paid assistant last year). Fingers crossed we can keep some of the good ones (54%, 92 Votes)
- I just find it odd that Darian Hagan - one of the best and certainly most loyal assistants - continues to be one of the lowest paid CU coaches (No. 464 nationally last season) (42%, 71 Votes)
- I'm not sure if increases are warranted - at least not yet. There needs to be a run of winning seasons before we should be talking about increasing assistant coaches' salaries (4%, 7 Votes)

CU athletics department receives $12 million to rename the Champions Center the "UCHealth Champions Center". Thoughts?
- I like it. It's like free money, as everyone will still call it the "Champions Center", anyway, and it will help the bottom line to get the first $3 million up front (50%, 84 Votes)
- It's fine ... now, about the naming rights for Folsom Field. I know it may not be popular with purists, but CU is leaving money on the table every year the rights are not sold (35%, 59 Votes)
- Not a big fan, especially since the UC Health Center hasn't been able to recognize that we are CU, not UC. And it will take 15 years to get to $12 million (15%, 26 Votes)

The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
