Report: Texas A&M boosters set up LLC's for incoming recruits, paying $25 million to buy highest-ranked recruiting Class. Thoughts?
  • The end of days. If recruits (and transfers) can openly (and legally) offer themselves to the highest bidder, college football is not only as bad as the NFL, it's worse (no salary cap) (71%, 252 Votes)
  • Not a surprise, but it doesn't mean anything to CU. It's not like any of these recruits were ever going to look at CU anyway (16%, 58 Votes)
  • It just bugs me that CU has never been able to find a true sugar daddy. The Buffs are one T. Boone Pickens or Phil Knight away from buying relevance (13%, 44 Votes)

It's been widely reported that CU quarterbacks coach Danny Langsdorf has been hired to be the offensive coordinator at Temple. Thoughts?
  • A win/win. CU needed to move on from Langsdorf (not much development of CU's quarterbacks), while Langsdorf lands on his feet. A good move for both parties (49%, 151 Votes)
  • CU was at 11 assistants, and seemed set. Now there is another assistant to be named. Let's see who is the new assistant (which position group? Can they recruit?) before passing judgment either way (43%, 132 Votes)
  • Sorry to see Langsdorf go. New CU offensive coordinator Mike Sanford's record with quarterbacks is less than stellar, so the loss of Langsdorf doesn't bode well for the future of CU's offense (8%, 26 Votes)

Which story of the day did you find the most interesting/intriguing/compelling?
  • That outside linebackers coach Brian Michalowski has not been retained. I understand that CU had to let go one of its existing coaches, but I'm surprised that it was Michalowski (48%, 148 Votes)
  • That Oklahoma quarterback Caleb Williams has entered the Transfer Portal. OU has already lost Spencer Rattler. Is this a sign of problems in Norman, or is Williams just testing the waters? (29%, 91 Votes)
  • That CU's game at Oregon was postponed for a second time (this time due to issues in Eugene). This makes you wonder just how many basketball games will actually be played this spring (23%, 70 Votes)

CU picks up its first commitment from the Recruiting Class of 2023, defensive end Kam'ron Bizor. Thoughts?
  • It's early - neither recruiting service had Bizor rated when he committed - so let's see how this plays out. I hope that CU jumped on a star player early. but we'll see how he ranks next December (57%, 137 Votes)
  • Another recruit from talent-rich Houston (good); another recruit in a position of need (defensive line). Like it! (37%, 90 Votes)
  • Only one other offer for Bizor (Cal). It's good that CU beat out another Pac-12 rival for Bizor's services, but it would have been nice to see a longer offer sheet (6%, 14 Votes)

Wide receiver Brenden Rice becomes the third starter in as many weeks to enter the Transfer Portal. Thoughts?
  • It's becoming apparent that players who weren't recruited by Karl Dorrell aren't buying into his vision. Will that work out for the program? To be determined ... but color me concerned (43%, 166 Votes)
  • So much for "CU in '22". It doesn't matter if Dorrell brings in better coaches ... Without the Jimmy's and the Joe's, CU has no chance to compete. A terrible start to 2022 (29%, 115 Votes)
  • The losses - Gonzalez, Perry, and Rice - are talented, but are in position groups where there are decent replacements. If CU can pick up some good transfers, it can all work out. Fingers crossed (28%, 109 Votes)

  1. The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!

  2. Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.

  3. Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
