Are you cheering for No. 4 Arizona State (as the Big 12's representative) against No. 5 Texas in the College Football Playoffs?
- Yes. The Big 12 only has one representative in the CFP, and the Sun Devils have make a positive impression. Otherwise, it will be a long off-season of hearing how the Big 12 doesn't belong (75%, 157 Votes)
- No. I understand the logic of rooting for a Big 12 team in the CFP, but my dislike for Arizona State (and its fans) supersede any conference loyalties (14%, 29 Votes)
- No preference. I'm: a) Not interested in games not involving CU; b) Not interested in the CFP; or c) My rooting interests are not influenced by conference affiliations (11%, 22 Votes)

Thoughts on offensive line coach Phillip Loadholt and outside linebackers coach Vincent Dancy leaving CU for Mississippi State
- I understand that coaches will move on. My interest is in who will be the replacements in these two vital position groups. I hope Coach Prime has good replacements already in mind (73%, 152 Votes)
- Shouldn't this be a considered a lateral move at best? I understand both coaches have connections with Mississippi State, but isn't CU a higher profile program than MSU at this point? (14%, 29 Votes)
- Good for them. Both of Coach Prime's first year coordinators are now head coaches, so it's a good sign to have CU coaches being sought after by other programs (13%, 26 Votes)

Your first pick for CU's record for the 2025 season ...
- 7-8 wins. The Buffs are reloading, not rebuilding. There will be a learning curve for Ju Ju Lewis, and stars need to be replaced, but I have faith that six wins is no longer the ceiling, but the floor (56%, 162 Votes)
- 9 wins or more. CU has seven home games next year, and an overall favorable schedule. CU went from four wins to nine, and I can see the upward trajectory continuing in 2025 (31%, 90 Votes)
- 4-6 wins. BYU exposed CU's weaknesses, especially along the offensive line. Without Shedeur and Travis, it's likely the Buffs are going to take a step back, with a bowl bid once again the goal (13%, 37 Votes)

No. 17 BYU 36, No. 20 Colorado 14. Thoughts?
- An embarrassing rout on national television. No way to explain away CU's poor preparation. CU's weaknesses, especially its offensive line, were exposed. The score could have been even worse (53%, 159 Votes)
- Give BYU its due. The Cougars were 9-0 and No. 6 in the nation two months ago. BYU had a great game plan, and a solid defense. Buff fans should tip their cap and move on (30%, 89 Votes)
- It will be interesting to see how this affects the 2025 season. Many quality players are moving on. Can Coach Prime take advantage of the Transfer Portal and get the Buffs back to nine wins? I hope so (17%, 53 Votes)

It's time! Your prediction for the 2024 Alamo Bowl, No. 20 CU v. No. 17 BYU (ABC, 5:30 p.m., MT)
- BYU is a very solid team, and this is going to be one of the better bowl games of the season. It's going to go back and forth, but the Buffs will pull it out with a close win (45%, 100 Votes)
- Coach Prime won't want his sons (including Travis) to go out with a loss. The Buffs are going to be focused and prepared. I'm going to enjoy the Buffs posting win No. 10 in style (39%, 86 Votes)
- Without Naikai Hill-Green, the linebacker corps is thin, and the Cougars have a running quarterback. The "River Walk Curse" could well strike again, with CU falling to 0-4 in Alamo Bowls (16%, 36 Votes)

The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
