What factoid about graduate transfer wide receiver R.J. Sneed II has you the most excited about his upcoming season?
- That Sneed gives CU a new - and quality - option for a receiving corps which lost no fewer than five receivers to the Transfer Portal this past season (61%, 151 Votes)
- That Sneed has played for championship teams (and one which rebounded from a 2-7 season to win the Big 12), so he can help lead the Buffs on and off the field (21%, 51 Votes)
- That, despite being the second-leading receiver for a team ranked in the Top Ten nationally, that he came to Boulder for a new challenge (18%, 44 Votes)

Which of the following has you the most excited about CU's home opener against TCU?
- That it's a blackout. Blackout games at Folsom have a good look. A night blackout game at Folsom is something special. Can't wait for Friday night! (57%, 142 Votes)
- That CU will be honoring Cliff Branch between the first and second quarters. The NFL Hall of Fame nod should have come while he was still alive, but glad the honor has finally come (19%, 47 Votes)
- That CU has a new state of the art sound system, after years - make that decades - of an inferior system. It has been a real detriment - I'll be interested to see how much it's improved (16%, 40 Votes)
- That CU will have a new vendor - GQueBBQ. So, even if the Buffs are not playing well on the field, the fans can be well fed in the stands (8%, 20 Votes)

Pat Rooney: "The reality is the Buffs are probably a year away, at best, from legitimate bowl contention". Thoughts?
- Not to put too much pressure on one game, but the outcome of the TCU game will probably have a great say. Win it, and the Buffs' trajectory is upward; lose it, and it's the same 'ol Buffs (58%, 167 Votes)
- A true statement. You can't have a losing record, lose most of your top players to graduation and the Transfer Portal, and expect better results. Momentum for '23 is CU's best hope (29%, 83 Votes)
- Not even close to a true statement. Every team ... except Nebraska 😉 ... is undefeated and can win every game. Dorrell has made wholesale changes, and we'll see that starting Friday (13%, 37 Votes)

Karl Dorrell on quarterback race: "We decided to announce not to announce ... They know what our game plan is, but I think it's wise for us to not do that announcement at all". Thoughts?
- I like it. Those who need to know (the players) know, and TCU will have to prepare for both quarterbacks. It's a good strategy, and I have no problem with announcing not to announce (50%, 121 Votes)
- Who cares? (At least for now). Nebraska, a 12-point favorite over Northwestern, lost to the Wildcats. Nice pregame speech to the team Friday: "Make Vegas look stupid - get out there and win" (38%, 92 Votes)
- Don't like playing games. The quarterback is the most important player on the team, and the team needs to move forward behind their leader. Announce and get ready for the season (12%, 29 Votes)

Offensive line coach Kyle DeVan is looking for versatility on the line by preparing players to play multiple positions. Thoughts?
- Considering how bad the line played last season, I'm willing to give DeVan the benefit of the doubt ... for a game or two. If the line isn't playing better, my opinion will change (65%, 95 Votes)
- “You play the best five or the best six ... You’re not pigeon-holed where he’s your fifth-best or your eighth-best offensive lineman, but he’s the only one that plays left tackle" - Makes sense (25%, 36 Votes)
- Not a big fan. More than any other unit on the team, the offensive line has to play as one. By not having continuity in your starting five, you are not putting your best unit on the field (10%, 15 Votes)

The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
