• Sorry, but those other teams (certainly Arizona State and Wisconsin) had much higher aspirations to start the season than did CU. Don't look for the Buffs to go on a run - it's not gonna happen (56%, 185 Votes)

• High school recruiting is not as important as it used to be. CU's next coach needs to be able to take advantage of the Transfer Portal if CU is to become a decent any time soon (53%, 112 Votes)

• 1-6. I don't know if the Buffs will rise up against Cal or Arizona State, but I can see them winning at least one game this season (40%, 136 Votes)

• Not necessary. CU's next head coach can hire any number of assistants - and a pair of coordinators - with head coaching experience. CU needs inspiration more than an "HC" on the resume (41%, 113 Votes)
• Definitely. While a hot coordinator might get fans excited, there is so much more to being a head coach. CU can't afford to have its next coach learn the job on the run (31%, 87 Votes)
• Undecided. It would probably make sense to have CU's next coach be familiar with the job, but an FCS or G5 head coaching job is so different from a Power Five job, it probably doesn't matter (28%, 78 Votes)
