CU women's basketball projected as the No. 20 team in the nation next season (after finishing No. 15 in the 2022-23 Coaches' poll). Thoughts?
- It's great news. A Sweet Sixteen appearance, a Top 15 final ranking, and a Top 25 projection for 2023-24? CU is enjoying its best run since Ceal Barry retired! Go Buffs! (64%, 109 Votes)
- It's good news, but there is still work to be done. There are seven (seven?) Pac-12 teams in the projected Top 25. It's going to be an exciting - but tough - season. Good luck, Buffs! (28%, 48 Votes)
- Sorry to say, but I would prefer it if the men's team which were receiving Top 25 accolades. Perhaps with freshman phenom Cody Williams and transfer center Eddie Lampkin coming in ... it may happen (8%, 14 Votes)

CU picks up a commitment from 6'11", 263-pound TCU transfer center Eddie Lampkin. Thoughts?
- Lampkin had offers from Georgetown, Memphis, Cincinnati, Arkansas, Florida, and Xavier - pretty good basketball programs. Thumbs up. Welcome, Mr. Lampkin! (57%, 160 Votes)
- So we're basically trading Lawson Lovering for Eddie Lampkin. Lovering had a higher upside out of high school, but both have had their moments in college. Looks like an upgrade (27%, 74 Votes)
- To be honest, when I saw CU had a new commitment, I was hoping it was for football. A good get ... but I hope it's not the only "win" over TCU in 2023! (16%, 45 Votes)

What are you learning from all of the inside practice videos being released?
- I'm not sure if there is a great deal to be learned from the videos, but the players surely know they are being recorded, and are likely working harder than they might if fewer eyes were on them (54%, 91 Votes)
- A great deal. These inside the ropes videos show the intensity of the practices, and the talent of the players. Great stuff - I'm glad CU under Coach Prime understands the value of letting us in (29%, 49 Votes)
- Not very much. Just because we haven't seen it before doesn't mean it isn't happening everywhere else (including CU in prior years). Video is great, but I'm not putting much stock in it (17%, 29 Votes)

Five months out from the season opener against TCU, your level of confidence that CU will make a bowl game in the first year under Coach Prime
- Medium. Hedging my bets here with most of spring practices still to come, not to mention more turnover on the roster. It's still too early to know ... but I'm cautiously optimistic (63%, 153 Votes)
- High. The rest of the nation doesn't yet fully understand what Buff fans have come to understand: This roster, and this quality staff, are comin'. This team is a bowl team (20%, 49 Votes)
- Low. There are just too many holes on the roster, and too many ten-win teams on the schedule, to predict a bowl in Year One. Next year? I'm hopeful that my answer will be different (17%, 39 Votes)
Start Date: March 31, 2023 @ 6:11 pm

Which to you was the most eyebrow raising story of the day?
- That the CU Spring game is a sell out, and that CU alum Chris Fowler will be on hand for ESPN. There's no way that sentence would have made sense four months ago (65%, 182 Votes)
- That Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter are being reported as being in the Top Five in the country in NIL value. Not bad when you have a coach who says CU is not in the NIL game (24%, 68 Votes)
- That CU women's basketball coach JR Payne received a contract extension and a "huge" raise. It was certainly deserved ... especially since Coach Payne was the lowest paid coach in the Pac-12 (11%, 31 Votes)

The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
