Shilo Sanders, former South Carolina and Jackson State defensive back, commits to Colorado. Thoughts?
- Six months in coming, but welcome nonetheless. Sanders is a quality defensive back in his own right, and will add depth and experience to the defensive backfield. Welcome (officially), Shilo! (62%, 127 Votes)
- I just hope that every potential recruit gets a chance to see the commitment video. If recruits (and potential transfers) see the video, they won't be able to help but want to play for CU! (28%, 58 Votes)
- This is scholarship No. 79 (out of 85 allowed). Since it's not as if his parents don't have the money, perhaps Shilo should have played as a preferred walk-on, and saved a scholarship (10%, 20 Votes)

What to you would constitute a "successful" September for Coach Prime in 2023?
- 2-3 would actually be pretty satisfying. Wins over rivals Nebraska and CSU would be uplifting, and as long as they are competitive against TCU, Oregon and USC, I'm still in! (47%, 125 Votes)
- 3-2 would be an excellent start. That would mean beating Nebraska and CSU, and picking up an upset win over a ranked team. A more than satisfying start (44%, 119 Votes)
- I'd like to say 5-0, but it's a little too greedy to expect CU to beat USC for the first time ever, and Oregon and TCU on the road ... but 4-1 and a national ranking would be great! (9%, 24 Votes)

Which quote from CU athletic director Rick George do you like the best / find to be the most interesting?
- "In a perfect world, we’d love to be in the Pac-12, but we also have to do what’s right for Colorado at the end of the day. We’ll evaluate things as we move forward" (73%, 152 Votes)
- “The merchandise sales (from the Spring game) was larger than of any home game this past year, so that in itself was good. it was really good exposure for us to be on national TV. It was a good day" (14%, 29 Votes)
- “The first priority is we’ve got to get our scoreboard fixed. It’s old and we want to get a much larger board with a ribbon board around it for our fans" (13%, 27 Votes)

College Football's Stats Guru Bill Connelly doesn't know what to do with CU's SP+ projections. Thoughts?
- Makes some sense. When returning production and recent history are two of your metrics, the "conundrum" of CU is understandable. I look forward to "The Rise" of CU in the SP+ rankings (39%, 48 Votes)
- It just goes to show that preseason projections are rarely worth the paper they are written on. Coach Prime has torn up the script, so prognosticators should just take the summer off (38%, 47 Votes)
- At least Connelly acknowledges that CU will likely finish the season in the 40-70 range in his formulae. Why doesn't he just admit his system is fatally flawed and junk it? (23%, 28 Votes)

Should the Pac-12 follow the ACC's lead and adopt a revenue distribution model which rewards post-season success?
- No. CU fans will remember the unequal distributions allowed to Texas in the old Big 12. Such a move helps to divide a league, not unite it (50%, 95 Votes)
- I guess I am more in favor of it now than I was six months ago, as CU is much closer to caring about the post-season than it was before Coach Prime (27%, 51 Votes)
- Yes. If it will help keep the Pac-12 in tact, giving some extra dollars for better performance makes sense (and it might help keep Oregon and Washington in the league) (23%, 45 Votes)

The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
