Report: Pac-10 schools agree to media-rights deal with performance-based payments for Playoffs. Thoughts?
- At least we (hopefully) know that an unequal media distribution is off the table, and that (hopefully) this means a media deal announcement is coming soon (49%, 86 Votes)
- Not a fan. Oregon and Washington already have access to more dollars than other schools in the conference, and the new plan is to give them an even greater advantage? Count me out (28%, 49 Votes)
- Sounds good. The ACC announced a similar model. If it will keep Oregon and Washington in the conference, and keep the conference together, I'm in favor of this slight adjustment (23%, 39 Votes)

Would it be a good idea for the Pac-12 to add Gonzaga as a "basketball only" school?
- Yes. Gonzaga is one of the top men's basketball teams in the country. The Pac-12 is losing UCLA, so gaining a blue blood basketball team would help to preserve the conference (36%, 67 Votes)
- Depends. If the media contract would otherwise be too low to keep the conference together, then yes. If it will keep the Big 12 from poaching Gonzaga and perhaps San Diego State ... then yes (35%, 65 Votes)
- No. Desperate times call for desperate measures, but the Pac-12 shouldn't be this desperate. Add San Diego State and SMU if you have to, but the Pac-12 shouldn't be making these sorts of moves (29%, 54 Votes)

Which of the following nominated Buffs will be the first to be enshrined in the College Football Hall of Fame?
- RB Eric Bieniemy. He's been on the list the longest, and now has the name recognition of being a Super Bowl winning offensive coordinator. It's time (66%, 152 Votes)
- DB Deon Figures. A Thorpe Award winner; three-time first-team All Big Eight performer ... and had the interception to seal CU's national championship. Figures checks all the boxes (20%, 46 Votes)
- LB Matt Russell. A consensus first-team All-American and a Butkus Award winner, Russell led the defense through its most dominant stretch (1993-96) (14%, 32 Votes)

Which stat about the CU 2022 roster to you is the most surprising?
- That over a quarter of the players who have left the team since the end of last year have yet to find a new home. I hope that the ones who want to continue playing can find scholarships before Fall (49%, 114 Votes)
- That only about a dozen former players have found homes in Power Five conferences. I knew CU's roster was largely devoid of Power Five talent ... but I didn't think it was this bad (34%, 79 Votes)
- That are almost a dozen former players who will be playing for FCS schools (or even lower divisions). Sad that the former coaching staff was this poor in evaluating talent (17%, 41 Votes)

Caesar's Sportsbook has CU at +6000 to win the Pac-12. Would you place that bet?
- What I'm taking from the Caesar's Sportsbook odds is that the Buffs are about even with Arizona, even with Cal, and in better shape than Arizona State and Stanford ... sounds about right (36%, 60 Votes)
- Worth a wager. The Coach Prime experiment is unprecedented, so who's to say it won't work out even better than we expect? With such a great payout, it's a bet actually worth taking (33%, 55 Votes)
- Nope. Yes, CU will be much improved over the disaster which was the 2022 season, but I'm not taking a bet on CU winning the Pac-12, even with inviting odds (31%, 54 Votes)

The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
