CU sells 9,000 student season tickets in an hour (3,000 being held to sell August 15th). Thoughts?
- Well done, CU students! The Coach Prime fever remains strong, and it's great to see that 9,000 students - in early July, no less - were ready to go and get their tickets (52%, 109 Votes)
- I just hope - and I think it's likely - that these are hardcore CU Buff fans, and will show up in force for the Nebraska game (and show up before the kickoff, please!) (35%, 73 Votes)
- Happy that they sold out so fast, but the student section has been selling out for really awful teams, so this isn't a huge surprise (13%, 29 Votes)

CU picks up a commitment from junior college offensive lineman Jeremiah McCrimmon. Thoughts?
- Depth along the lines has been a concern from Day One. CU is now up to 14 scholarship offensive lineman, and getting closer to having quality depth at every position. Glad to have another 300-pounder (71%, 166 Votes)
- Ummm ... In the coaching staff we trust, I guess. But it seems like CU has been scraping the bottom of the transfer portal barrel of late. Coahoma Community College ... seriously? (20%, 48 Votes)
- Like the looks of this. McCrimmon has gone from 6'3", 285-pounds to 6'6", 310-pounds in two years. Under the radar no more - welcome, Mr. McCrimmon! (9%, 21 Votes)

Yea or Nay: On September 2nd, Travis Hunter will be one of the starting wide receivers
- Yea ... with an asterisk. I don't see Hunter as a primary receiver on the offense, but for the first set of downs in the Coach Prime era? On national television? Yes, Hunter will be a starter v. TCU (61%, 149 Votes)
- Yea. You can't keep this talent off of the field. Hunter will play predominantly on the defensive side of the ball, but Sean Lewis will want him to be a significant part of the offense as well (21%, 51 Votes)
- Nay. Colorado's defense will need all of the talented bodies it can get in the secondary, and Hunter is too valuable as a shut down corner to have him in for too many plays on offense (18%, 43 Votes)

Report: The Big 12 has little interest in bringing San Diego State on board. Thoughts?
- We'll see. The Mountain West Presidents are meeting on July 17th. If the Pac-12 hasn't moved by then, my guess is that SDSU and the MWC will find a way to compromise, and this will all be put to bed (57%, 72 Votes)
- It's just posturing. Big 12 commissioner Brett Yormark has long talked about expanding into the Pacific time zone. No chance the Big 12 is not at least talking with the Aztecs (23%, 29 Votes)
- Makes sense. The Big 12 is in the middle of a lame duck season with Texas and Oklahoma, and adding four new teams this fall. A pause on expansion makes sense (20%, 26 Votes)
Start Date: July 8, 2023 @ 4:59 pm

Report: Coach Prime is going to hire former New York Giants head coach Pat Shurmur as an analyst. Thoughts?
- I guess I'm wondering where CU is coming up with the money to pay for all of these coaches ... but I'm love seeing CU's commitment to winning. Welcome, Coach Shumur! (43%, 85 Votes)
- Another coach with not only NFL coaching experience, but NFL head coaching experience? Gotta love the coaching staff Coach Prime has put together. Can't wait for September! (36%, 71 Votes)
- Umm ... Isn't this the same Pat Shumur who was the architect of the pathetic Denver Broncos offenses in 2020 and 2021? Hard pass (21%, 40 Votes)

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy???
