What CU sports story are you most looking forward this weekend?
- CU football opens spring practices on Sunday. Sure, there won't be much news, but it will be the first time the Buffs are on the practice field under Coach Prime ... I can't wait! (47%, 90 Votes)
- No. 6 CU women v. No. 11 Middle Tennessee State (Saturday, 5:00 p.m., MT, ESPNNews). The CU women are in the Big Dance for the second year in a row, and are favored against Blue Raiders (27%, 51 Votes)
- No. 3 CU men v. No. 7 Utah State (Sunday, 7:30 p.m., ESPNU). The Buffs get to play a second (and, if they win, a third) round game at the CEC. The Buffs can still salvage something from this season (26%, 49 Votes)

Buffs to take on Utah Valley at home in the second round of the NIT. Thoughts?
- This is a Utah Valley team which not only beat New Mexico in The Pit, but beat Oregon in Eugene. Buffs can't take the Wolverines for granted (39%, 87 Votes)
- Things have broken well for CU. The No. 1 and No. 2 seeds on their side of the bracket have lost. CU can win two games - both at home - and make it to the NIT semifinals in Las Vegas. Go Buffs! (35%, 79 Votes)
- All I know is that Colorado is still playing basketball, and Arizona is done for the season. Who knew we would be saying that a week ago? Go Buffs (nice going, Cats!) (26%, 59 Votes)

CU men's basketball team defeats Seton Hall, 65-64, in the first round of the NIT Tournament. Thoughts?
- The Buffs were playing without three main contributors, and still gutted out a win. Glad to see the Buffs guaranteed a winning season ... let's see how far they can take their postseason (73%, 159 Votes)
- ESPN slotted the Buffs to play at 9:00 MT on a weeknight on two days notice, with all of 2,363 at the CEC paying to watch - that tells you all you need to know about the significance of the game (19%, 42 Votes)
- The Buffs were playing a Seton Hall team which had lost four of its last five games, had to travel and play at altitude at 11:00 p.m., eastern time. Color me unimpressed (8%, 18 Votes)

Which of the following quotes from Coach Prime's talk with the team do you like best?
- “We’re winners, and we start winning by when we wake up. Let’s win today. Let’s not walk on the field, period. We’re running and hustling, encouraging one another, pushing one another" (43%, 95 Votes)
- “Quit saving it. What are you saving it for? Give every dern thing you got. How long is a play? Five seconds. Give every dern thing you got for that 5!” (39%, 86 Votes)
- “I can have a bad moment, I can have a bad minute or a bad hour, but I would never allow it to get to a point where I’m having a bad day. You do not have the remote control to my life" (18%, 38 Votes)

Which story to you was the best CU news of the weekend?
- That the CU Spring Game on April 22nd will be televised by ESPN (the only Spring Game in the country to be on ESPN), and that ticket sales for the game have topped 35,000 (77%, 212 Votes)
- That the CU women earned a No. 6 seed in the NCAA basketball tournament, just the second time in school history that the Buffs have earned back-to-back NCAA tournament bids (16%, 43 Votes)
- That the CU men earned a No. 3 seed in the NIT tournament, and, more importantly, get to host a first round game. The Buffs get a chance at redemption, and can end the season on a high note (7%, 20 Votes)

The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
