It's time! Your prediction for No. 19 Colorado at No. 10 Oregon (Saturday, 1:30 p.m., MT, ABC)
- Teams have film on the Buffs now, and can exploit CU's weaknesses along the lines. The Buffs will come in under the 20.5-point line, but it will still be CU's first loss of the season (55%, 139 Votes)
- The Buffs will be able to game plan without Travis Hunter on offense and defense. This team loves the underdog role, and will surprise the Ducks (and the nation) with another upset! (28%, 72 Votes)
- Oregon is a top ten team, and has a Heisman hopeful at QB, but no one is paying any attention to them. Oregon will win the game, and pile on at the end to make a statement and beat the spread (17%, 43 Votes)

What stat do you think will be the most telling for the Buffs as they take on the Ducks?
- Turnovers. CU is tied for the most turnovers gained in the nation (10), but Oregon has yet to suffer a turnover in three games. If the Buffs are going to win, they'll need some turnovers (39%, 116 Votes)
- CU's rushing numbers. The Buffs don't have to have a strong rushing attack to defeat the Ducks, but if the Buffs continue to be one-dimensional on offense, it could be a tough day for CU's offense (36%, 109 Votes)
- Oregon's passing numbers. With Travis Hunter out, and with other defensive backs ailing, CU's ability to hold Bo Nix in check will be telling (25%, 74 Votes)

Report: Pac-2 and Mountain West considering a merger with promotion and relegation. Thoughts?
- I like it! Serves their short term goal of being relevant nationally, as fans will want to tune in to late season meaningful games ... and may provide a model for the Power Four to use later (49%, 99 Votes)
- I hope it happens, so CSU fans can boast about how this is a path to the CFP (they already think that half the 9.3 million who watched Saturday were tuning in to watch them) (33%, 67 Votes)
- Not a fan. Sounds gimmicky to me. Do they think that a late season game between New Mexico and Utah State to determine a relegated team will cause that much of a stir? (18%, 35 Votes)

Which of the following Prime Effect factoids of the week is the most eye-opening?
- That ESPN's coverage had 9.3 million viewers, the most-watched late prime game in ESPN history, and the fifth-most watched game on ESPN EVER (62%, 180 Votes)
- That CU has now sold out all six home games - for the first time in school history. Even during the magical run from 1989-96, CU never sold out all of its home games ... Coach Prime is a magnet! (31%, 91 Votes)
- That ESPN's GameDay, with 2.3 million viewers, was the third-most watched September episode EVER, and that was with Fox's show - also featuring CU - on at the same time (7%, 20 Votes)
Start Date: September 19, 2023 @ 4:33 pm
End Date: No Expiry
Fox will broadcast the game next weekend between No. 19 CU and No. 5 USC at 10:00 a.m., MT. Thoughts?
- If it means another nationally televised game for CU, and if the 9:00 a.m., body clock kickoff for the Trojans gives the Buffs an edge, then I'm in. Go Buffs, pick up first-ever win v. USC (64%, 202 Votes)
- Love it! Last time I checked, CU is 2-0 in 10:00 a.m., MT starts this fall ... and the early start beats the Hell out of having a game finishing at 12:35 a.m. on Sunday morning, like the CSU game (25%, 78 Votes)
- Hate it! Football should not be played in the morning. There is no time for proper tailgating! I hate how television is completely ruining the game day experience for actual fans (11%, 36 Votes)

The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
