To date, CU has lost two assistant coaches, offensive coordinator Sean Lewis and defensive ends coach Nick Williams. Thoughts?
- I'm going to withhold comment until I hear who CU will bring in as replacements. One benefit of having assistants leave for better jobs is having a stack of applicants who want to replace them (63%, 189 Votes)
- It's tough, but it's also part of the business. If you have coaches leaving for better opportunities and promotions, you thank them for their service and move on (21%, 64 Votes)
- More bad news in a run of two months of little besides bad news. Lewis was very respected, and Williams was one of CU's top recruiters. Tough losses to overcome (16%, 48 Votes)

Washington completes the Pac-12's first perfect season with a 34-31 win over Oregon. Thoughts?
- I like it. Nice for the Pac-12 to go out with a great title game between two Top Ten teams, giving the conference a participant in the College Football Playoff. Well done, Dawgs! (51%, 110 Votes)
- I'm just glad that we've now gotten through another year without Uncle Phil and Nike U getting their first national championship. Money can't buy happiness, Ducks! (38%, 82 Votes)
- Actually, I've moved on to caring more about the Big 12. Had their been a 12-team playoff this year, no member of the '24 Big 12 would have earned an invite. Coach Prime: The door is wide open! (11%, 25 Votes)

Which of the 2023 "Prime Numbers" to you is the most impressive?
- That CU had five of the top 15 most-viewed regular season games of the season, the No. 2 game overall, and had more viewers than did six Pac-12 teams ... combined (50%, 90 Votes)
- That first-year applications at CU are up 26.4% ... and that CU has received applications from 16 countries from which they had never received applications (41%, 74 Votes)
- That Shedeur Sanders set (at least) three CU single season passing records, and is now No. 2 in at least four others (four which he would have owned had he played against Utah) (9%, 17 Votes)

Coach Prime named Sports Illustrated "Sportsman of the Year". Thoughts?
- Great news! A well-written article that understands how steep CU's climb has been, and the positive impact Coach Prime has had on CU, Boulder and college football (53%, 103 Votes)
- I have to admit, I was braced for another "the Buffs fell off a cliff and Coach Prime is over his head" article, but this was very positive, and will be very helpful promoting CU going forward (32%, 62 Votes)
- I'm just waiting for the backlash, with the haters going after Coach Prime and CU. To be honest, I'd rather see some positive news with regard to the roster and coaching staff (15%, 28 Votes)

What is your level of anxiety as CU is losing assistant coaches to other schools, future commits, and current roster players to the Transfer Portal?
- Low. The off-season is a long, nine-month process, and we are in the very early stages. Patience, people, better days are coming (and in the not too distant future) (51%, 157 Votes)
- Medium. It's not easy right now, but Coach Prime says better days are ahead, and I have faith in that ... but it would be nice if there was a little good news in the next few days (35%, 108 Votes)
- High. The loss of coaches and roster players are expected, but having commits drop the Buffs is not a good look, and the haters are having a field day. It's a tough time (14%, 42 Votes)

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy???
